The King James Version (KJV), also known as the King James Bible (KJB) or simply the Authorized Version (AV), is an English translation of the Christian Bible for the Church of England, was commissioned in 1603 and completed as well as published in 1611 under the sponsorship of James VI and I. The books of the King James Version include the 39 books of the Old Testament, an intertestamental section containing 14 books of the Apocrypha, and the 27 books of the New Testament. Noted for its "majesty of style", the King James Version has been described as one of the most important books in English culture and a driving force in the shaping of the English-speaking world.  It was first printed by John Norton & Robert Barker, both the King's Printer, and was the third translation into English approved by the English Church authorities: The first had been the Great Bible, commissioned in the reign of King Henry VIII (1535), and the second had been the Bishops' Bible, commissioned in the reign of Queen Elizabeth I (1568). In Geneva, Switzerland the first generation of Protestant Reformers had produced the Geneva Bible of 1560 from the original Hebrew and Greek scriptures, which was influential in the writing of the Authorized King James Version.  In January 1604, King James convened the Hampton Court Conference, where a new English version was conceived in response to the problems of the earlier translations perceived by the Puritans, a faction of the Church of England.  James gave the translators instructions intended to ensure that the new version would conform to the ecclesiology of, and reflect the episcopal structure of, the Church of England and its belief in an ordained clergy. The translation was done by 6 panels of translators (47 men in all, most of whom were leading biblical scholars in England) who had the work divided up between them: the Old Testament was entrusted to three panels, the New Testament to two, and the Apocrypha to one. In common with most other translations of the period, the New Testament was translated from Greek, the Old Testament from Hebrew and Aramaic, and the Apocrypha from Greek and Latin. In the Book of Common Prayer (1662), the text of the Authorized Version replaced the text of the Great Bible for Epistle and Gospel readings (but not for the Psalter, which substantially retained Coverdale's Great Bible version), and as such was authorized by Act of Parliament.  By the first half of the 18th century, the Authorized Version had become effectively unchallenged as the English translation used in Anglican and English Protestant churches, except for the Psalms and some short passages in the Book of Common Prayer of the Church of England. Over the course of the 18th century, the Authorized Version supplanted the Latin Vulgate as the standard version of scripture for English-speaking scholars. With the development of stereotype printing at the beginning of the 19th century, this version of the Bible became the most widely printed book in history, almost all such printings presenting the standard text of 1769 extensively re-edited by Benjamin Blayney at Oxford, and nearly always omitting the books of the Apocrypha. Today the unqualified title "King James Version" usually indicates this Oxford standard text.

Spis Evangelium utrpení přináší v sedmi pojednáních zdůvodnění a rozbor utrpení, jimiž musí věřící v životě projít, neboť jsou křesťanům Novým zákonem (požadavky života) předurčena: nést svůj kříž, jít s ním sám a nést jej tak, aby byl lehký („rozkošný“). K tomu musí věřící, nechce-li se klamat, odumřít vlastní vůli (světu – za nějž se obyčejně člověk schovává a nejúčinněji tak niveluje svoji duši a poměr k Bohu). Věřící má Krista následovat. V základu všech Kierkegaardových spisů stojí člověk před Bohem vždy jako Jedinec a i zde, v této „radostné zvěsti utrpení“, apeluje dánský „revizor křesťanství“ na jeho význam: „Neví se možná, že se otroctví znovu zavádí, a odtrhnout se od něj působí ohromnou potíž! Toto otroctví nespočívá v tom, že jeden chce potlačovat mnohé (pak by si dal člověk pozor), ale že jedinci na Boha zapomínají a více se začínají bát množství lidí, kteří se ze strachu z lidí zase začínají bát jeden druhého. Tak se vytváří množství, jež se vzdává věčného šlechtictví každému povoleného – být jedincem!“ Cesta věřícího, jak je zmíněno několikrát ve spise, není těsná, naopak je cestou sama tíseň, a tíseň je: jak se jde! Víra by se neměla obrátit ani v lehkomyslnou „záruku“ boží milosti (kritika církve) ani v těžkomyslnost, musí být smělá: směle se odvažovat a směle důvěřovat…, neboť „přese všechny omyly a návody, je totiž pravda jen jedna, jen jedna jediná, jež je Cesta a Život, jen jeden návod, jenž člověka vede opravdově k životu skrze život…“

Der Bischof bezeichnete das Thema der ausschließlichen Weihe von Witwern als Extravaganz. Derzeit arbeitet Peter L. Baláž bei den Streitkräften der Slowakischen Republik und Michal Lajcha in der Er­wachsenenbildung und in der Land- und Forstwirtschaft. Beide befassen sich weiterhin mit dem Problem der Weihe von Witwern und der Freiwilligkeit des Zölibats. Sie schrieben das Buch im Schmerz über die Verkümmerung der Liebe und des Respekts für den Menschen in der Römisch-katholischen Kirche, so dass der Text nicht leicht zugänglich ist. Die Autoren glauben, dass das schmerzhafte Problem der ausschließlichen Weihe von Witwern im deutschsprachigen Raum nicht ignoriert werden wird und dessen Reflexion zur Weihe von Verheirateten führen und dem Wohl der gesamten Römisch- katholischen Kirche dienen wird.

Jeho kniha se opírá nejen o výklad Bible a nejdůležitějších textů církevní nauky, ale také o lidskou zkušenost. Hubert Philipp Weber vyučuje dogmatickou teologii na Vídeňské univerzitě. Je arcibiskupským sekretářem a teologickým spolupracovníkem kardinála Christopha Schönborna. Věnuje se též teologickému vzdělávání dospělých, kněží a jáhnů a výuce náboženství.

Hiszen származásilag Jézus zsidó nem lehetett, ezt a Talmud is pontosan leírja. Tehát anyanyelve sem lehetett a zsidók által beszélt nyelv. Kik voltak a pártusok, a galileaiak szövetségesei, rokonai, akik a római seregeket többször tönkreverték? Miért nem írnak erről történelemkönyveink? Mi volt a gnosztikus tudás alapja, mely Jézus filozófiájának is alapja? Kik és miért változtatták meg az emberiség két alapvetően fontos szentháromságát, a Fény Szentháromságát (Atya–Fiú–SzűzAnya), és a Trichotómiát (test-szellem-lélek)? Az előbbiből miért vették ki a SzűzAnyát, és helyettesítették a Szentlélek fogalmával, illetve az utóbbiból miért törölték el a lélek fogalmát, illetve gyúrták egybe a lelket és a szellemet? Miért és kik törölték el Jézus eredeti tanítását, nacionáléját, származását? Miért hamis a mai kép róla, személyéről, és tanításáról? Folytathatnánk a kérdések százaival. E könyv megpróbál utat találni ebben az ellenerők által kialakított mocsárban, hogy megláthassuk a lényeget, és ezáltal annak a tudásnak birtokába kerüljünk, amely már maga, az igazság. Amely Jézus szerint felszabadít. Azért, hogy a jelenben és jövőben már ne tévedjünk el újra és újra, és ne tudjanak mások sem eltéríteni minket.
