Jednoho dne se probouzí překvapivě opět živ a zdráv na osamělé lavičce v parku, aby se dozvěděl, že...
Fantaskní hříčka na vlnách surrealismu, v rytmu DADA, sleduje intenzivní snahu hlavního hrdiny o spásu chronických smolařů, lůzrů a ostatních jedinců na okraji majoritní společnosti, kteří sice dělají maximum pro to, aby se životem protloukli, nicméně manipulační prostor pro určitý zásah shůry by se v jejich upřímné snaze ještě najít dal. A zde se na scéně objevuje ústřední postava, coby anděl strážný v záletu, s celou škálou svých dovedností, umu a bezelstného úsilí, který se zhurta vrhá do produktivity, až kontraproduktivity svého nového pracovního nasazení.
Varování ministerstva mravokárnosti: Citlivějšího čtenáře upozorňujeme na vyšší koncentraci použitých vulgarismů v přímé řeči hlavního hrdiny, případně vedlejších postav příběhu, který se odehrává v plebejském undergroundovém prostředí, zcela mimo spořádanou většinovou societu, buržoazní kruhy, sklepy s drahocennými archivními víny, či garáže s naleštěnými trendy vozidly všech možných stop. Není to tím, že by byl autor dobytek, či zvrhlík a v podobném vyjadřovacím stylu se vyžíval, prapůvod tohoto naturelu spíše tkví v tvůrcově oblibě kouzla zvráceného. A do těchto svých neotřelých noirových fantazií by rád pozval každého otrlého čtenáře, se zálibou v choromyslných imaginacích, který by se rád ponořil do příběhu, kde sice láska a pravda bojují za svá práva, ovšem nic není zadarmo.
Střední Evropa aneb Historie jednoho pomníku
Na blíže neurčeném místě v České republice se v jednom luxusním hotelu setkávají čtyři přátelé z 90. let: Maďar, východní Němec, Polák a Čech. Tato skutečnost umožní všem účastníkům setkání, aby se při debatách o střední Evropě vyrovnávali nejen s tímto fenoménem, ale rovněž se svou vlastní minulostí. Na tyto leckdy mučivé pokusy nejsou sami: bedlivě je při nich sledují i zástupci mladší generace – česká recepční a synovec polského hosta –, kteří si tak aspoň jako pozorovatelé mohou lépe uvědomit, odkud vlastně sami pocházejí, a kam tedy také asi patří.
Hra vznikala v době covidových uzávěr, v letech 2020–2021, formou on-line dialogu. Oba autoři se tehdy pokoušeli prací na společném divadelním dramatu překonat jednak fyzickou odloučenost, výsledku úředních nařízení, a také případná nedorozumění v chápání fenoménu střední Evropy, k nimž došlo v důsledku rozdílné historické zkušenosti a socializace. Hra je tak originálním spojením dvou odlišných pohledů na historii od dvou významných autorských osobností německého a českého jazyka, kteří se v minulosti seznámili jako autor – Schlink – a jeho překladatel – Kafka.
Bernhard Schlink (1944) je německý spisovatel. Světovou proslulost získal především díky románu Předčítač (1995), který byl rovněž zfilmován.
Tomáš Kafka (1965) je autorem několika básnických sbírek, divadelních jednoaktovek a zejména překladů z německého jazyka (např. Bernhard Schlink, Heinrich Hoffmann, Hans Magnus Enzensberger, Wilhelm Busch, Thomas Brussig, Werner Schwab).
The Silmarillion
The forerunner to The Lord of the Rings, The Silmarillion fills in the background which lies behind the more popular work, and gives the earlier history of Middle-earth, introducing some of the key characters. The Silmarillion is an account of the Elder Days, of the First Age of Tolkien’s World. It is the ancient drama to which the characters in The Lord of the Rings look back, and in whose events some of them, such as Elrond and Galadriel, took part.
The tales of The Silmarillion are set in an age when Morgoth, the first Dark Lord, dwelt in Middle-Earth, and the High Elves made war upon him for the recovery of the Silmarils, the jewels containing the pure light of Valinor.
Beletria je často nazývaná aj krásnou, alebo umeleckou literatúrou. Toto označenie pochádza z francúzskeho názvu belles lettres (krásna literatúra). Výrazom beletria sa súhrnne označujú umelecké prozaické diela. K najznámejším beletristickým žánrom patrí poviedka, novela, román, črta či umelecká reportáž.
Romány, poviedky a novely ponúkajú pútavé príbehy s výraznými postavami a atmosférou. Divadelné hry zase slúžia ako materiál pre divadelné predstavenia a prinášajú konverzácie, dramatické situácie a komediálne alebo tragické prvky.
