Tak jako Vargas a Lagola napsali na podium na Aviciiho koncertě: Všichni jsme Timovi přátelé.”
Kulišárny Josefa Dvořáka
Josef Dvořák je veselý vypravěč, u kterého úsměv na tváři nikdy nemizí. Jeho oči svítí šibalstvím a kulišárnami. Přirozeně baví sebe i okolí. Je tomu tak i v této knize, která vychází v edici populárního pořadu regionálních stanic Českého rozhlasu Humoriáda. Najdete v ní vyprávění, příhody a historky o Uršule Klukové, Jiřím Císlerovi, Otovi Jirákovi, Janě Paulové, Františku Filipovi nebo Jiřím Suchém. Josef Dvořák v ní líčí své zážitky z dětství, ale také odhaluje řadu náhod, které ho přivedly k divadlu nebo ho přiměly u něj zůstat. Život s láskou - Libuška a Josef
Patřili k nejstabilnějším párům uměleckého světa. Libuše Šafránková, nezapomenutelná Popelka, a Josef Abrhám, nezapomenutelný Vrchní. Hvězdy Činoherního klubu, na které se stály dlouhé fronty, spolu žily víc jak 40 let v harmonickém vztahu, který jim mnozí kolegové mohli jen závidět.
Nebyla to ale láska na první pohled. Seznámili se v Činoherním klubu, kam Libuška přišla po zrušení Divadla Za branou v roce 1972 a kde Josef působil od jeho počátků. První rok se vůbec nepotkávali, protože nehráli v žádném představení společně. Ale aniž by o tom ten druhý věděl, chodili se tajně dívat jeden na druhého. Poprvé se potkali v Poprasku na laguně. O třináct let starší Josef měl tehdy už několik let vážný vztah se zpěvačkou Naďou Urbánkovou. Kdy přeskočila ona pověstná jiskra, není až tak důležité, pravdou však je, že Josef s Libuškou chodil dva roky, než se to Naďa dozvěděla. Vzali se v roce 1976, o rok později se jim narodil syn Josef Abrhám ml.
Své role si vždy pečlivě vybírali, a to zejména ty, v nichž hráli společně. Určitě nejvíc si je budeme pamatovat z kultovního filmu Zdeňka Svěráka a Ladislava Smoljaka Vrchní, prchni!, kde hráli manžele, ale i z televizního filmu Svatební cesta do Jiljí, pohádek Restaurace U prince a Kouzla králů nebo filmu Přijde letos Ježíšek? V roce 1999 přijali účast ve snímku režiséra Mateje Mináče Všichni moji blízcí, inspirovaném statečným činem sira Nicholase Wintona. Matej Mináč slavnou hereckou dvojici výstižně charakterizoval takto: „Před médii byli hodně plaší, nechtěli se odhalovat a mluvit o svém soukromí. Vyjadřovali se vlastně přes filmy, protože v nich bylo vždycky hodně z nich samotných. Oni se uměli také hádat jako každá jiná rodina. Ale on se k Libušce vždycky choval něžně. Bylo to velmi milé. Oba si hodně důvěřovali, když si něco navzájem schválili, tak věděli, že je to dobré. Já jsem se od Pepy naučil, že pro umělce je důležitá pokora. Pokud si umělec myslí, že je mistr světa, tak je to cesta do záhuby. Člověk má vždycky pochybovat a hledat, i když má skvělý nápad. Mně oba připomínali šachovou partii, uměli svoje postavy dovést k dokonalosti.
Byli strašně sympatičtí a hlavně byli obyčejní. Nikdy si na nic nehráli, nemysleli si, že jsou velcí a významní lidé. Zbožňovali bavit lidi.
