Viktor Petermann - Stíhacím esem i po amputaci ruky
Kniha mapuje válečný osud stíhacího esa Viktora Petermanna, který se narodil horském městě Vejprty v Krušných horách. Jeho osobní vyprávění o zážitcích během služby u slavné stíhací eskadry 52, je doplněno o faktické informace nejen o této eskadře, ale i druhé a třetí skupině, ve které létal. Součástí je bohatá galerie fotografií z osobního archivu tohoto stíhače, ale i Jagdgeschwader 52, doplněné bokorysy světově známého grafika Claese Sundina ze Švédska. Viktor Petermann, rodák z města Vejprty, byl stíhacím esem u Jagdgeschwader 53. Po celou dobu během druhé světové války létal na východní frontě v Rusku, později v Rumunsku, Maďarsku a nakonec i v Čechách a na Moravě. Během jednoho letu byl zasažen vlastním protiletadlovým dělostřelectvem, a musel mu být mimo jiné amputována levá paže. I přes tento handicap si sám vyrobil protézu, a znovu usedl do kabiny legendární stíhačky Messeschmitt Bf 109. Vypracoval se na velitele letky a na své skóre si připsal ještě další tři sestřely. Kniha vypráví o jeho životě a především o bojové službě a poutavých zážitcích během stíhacích soubojů, ale útěku z nepřátelského území, kde havaroval. Součástí je i bohatá galerie osobních fotografií a dokumentů Petermann, stejně jako i stihací eskadry 52, ze které pocházeli nejúspěšnější stíhači všech dob, letecká esa Erich Hartmann, Gerhard Barkhorn a Gunther Rall.
