Na úvod nadväzuje TOP 10, keď sa ako čerstvý jubilant priznáva k najintímnejším destináciám z piatich kontinentov, s ktorými ho spútali nevšedné dojmy. Ide o publicistické útvary.
V ďalšej časti pokračuje vyznaním vo forme odpovedí na otázky zaostrené na celú prax s dôrazom na zahraničnú službu.
Tretia časť textov publikácie predstavuje chronologické usporiadanie míľnikov a zastavení v živote, čo sa de facto vzťahuje aj na rozsiahlu obrazovú prílohu.
Kniha obsahuje päťdesiat titulov na vyše sto stranách. Obrazová príloha je taktiež rozdelená do troch častí – Fragmenty z obľúbených miest, Zahraničná služba, Časová postupnosť – a zaberá tridsaťjeden strán.
Autor kladie dôraz na originálne informácie a pútavosť. Čitateľa chce presvedčiť, že dôverne pozná silu vyslovených myšlienok i písaného slova a pristupuje k nim s úctou. Nič z toho, čo v jednotlivých kapitolách uvádza, nepochádza z druhej ruky. Vsadil na úprimné výpovede a zážitky.
Rukopis tohto diela vznikol s finančnou podporou Literárneho fondu.

So zvedavosťou som otvoril rukopisné stránky novej, zaujímavej publikácie známeho novinára, diplomata a spisovateľa s názvom Okolo sveta za 80 rokov. Hneď mi prišlo na myseľ, veď autor mi pripomína francúzskeho románopisca Julesa Verna, ktorý publikoval svoju cestopisnú prózu Päť týždňov v balóne, ktorým obletel celý svet. Je predsa medzi nimi veľký časový rozdiel. Päť týždňov oproti osemdesiatročiu. Rudovi Zelenayovi trvalo takmer celý život, kým navštívil, poznal, oboznámil sa so svetovými destináciami a sprostredkoval nám výstižné charakteristiky miest i pútavé stretnutia so známymi osobnosťami. Medzi nimi môžeme vymenovať popredných štátnikov a honorácie, ale aj známych športovcov, akými boli Věra Čáslavská, Emil Zátopek, Jesse Owens, Bohuš Golian, Jutka Bendeová a nad všetkými tróni Karel Gott.

O všedných veciach píše autor nevšedne a o známych malebne. Jeho cestovateľské skúsenosti nás vedú k tomu, aby sme boli skromní a po návrate z cudziny hrdí na našu krajinu.

Markus Maria Weber, narozen roku 1981 ve Freiburgu im Breisgau, pracoval sedm let pro největší firmu na světě zabývající se podnikovým poradenstvím. Po spoustě nocích strávených v neosobních kancelářských budovách a v hotelových postelích si tehdy jedenatřicetiletý manažer vzal rok volno a odjel na kole do Toga, aby si tam dal kávu.
Rukopis jeho knižní prvotiny vznikal na služebních cestách, v čekárnách Německých drah, v letadlech a při nespočetných porcích kávy do kelímku s sebou.
Markusovi Weberovi se vede skvěle. Má přátele, je zdravý a pracuje jako manažer a prokurista pro jednu z největších poradenských firem na světě. Všechno vlastně perfektně klape. Doopravdy ztřeštěné začne být jeho putování až ve chvíli, kdy vstoupí na africkou půdu. Edičný zámer vydať Putovanie Sándora Petöfiho v preklade do slovenčiny vznikol v spolupráci Spolku slovenských spisovateľov a Maďarského zväzu spisovateľov, za výraznej pomoci Maďarského inštitútu v Bratislave. Cestopisy, zachytávajúce krajinu, prírodu i človeka s toľkou láskavou bezprostrednosťou a básnickou inšpiratívnosťou, prezrádzajú takmer všetko o osobnosti ich autora, o jeho schopnosti precízne pozorovať a opísať videné, jednoducho o jeho mimoriadnom talente. Autor vo svojich listoch nachádza svojský svet: ako básnik láskyplne žasne nad tajomstvami prírody, ktorá ho (ako píše) naučila, že poézia je grammatica mystéria sveta. Sólo cestování místo posedávání v kavárnách. V 64 letech nasedá Margot Flügel-Anhalt poprvé ve svém životě
na motorku a odváží se vydat na velkou, dobrodružnou cestu. Ze své malé vesnice v severním Hesensku vyráží do
cíle svých snů, na Pamírskou dálnici ve Střední Asii.
Na cestě stráví 117 dní a ujede přitom 18 064 kilometrů, 18 zeměmi, silou 17 koní. Technické poruchy, těžké pády,
totální vyčerpání – velikostí výzev roste také vstřícnost lidí, které na cestě potkává, díky nimž je její cesta nakonec
nezapomenutelná.
Nejde pouze o překročení hranic osmnácti zemí, ale současně i o překonávání hranic mezi cizími lidmi, jejich jazyky
a kulturami – a také o nikdy nekončícím překonávání vlastních hranic.
Margot Flügel-Anhalt, 1953, narozená v Tuttlingenu an der Donau, je diplomovaná sociální a divadelní pedagožka.
Jako dobrovolnice inscenuje hry pro „Junges Theater“ v Eschwege. Ve fyzické kondici se Margot Flügel-Anhalt
udržuje cvičením bojového umění wing tsun, v duševní pak ruštinou, kterou se učí na lidové univerzitě. Aby se
mohla na svém motocyklu 125 Enduro vydat na velkou cestu východní Evropou a Střední Asií, potřebovala jen
starý řidičák. Margot Flügel-Anhalt má dva syny a jedno vnouče – a mezitím přibyl i řidičský průkaz na motorku.

Jmenuji se Tadeáš Šíma, je mi 27 let a pocházím z jihočeských Prachatic. V roce 2016 jsem vyrazil poprvé do Afriky na kole. Z rodného města jsem došlapal až do marockého Rabatu, kde mě přepadla skupina mladých banditů, kteří mě připravili o kolo i elán pokračovat cestě. Má paličatost však zvítězila a já se o rok později na cestu vydal znovu. Z marockého přístavního města Tanger jsem podél západního pobřeží došlapal až do Kapského Města. Celá cesta trvala 7 měsíců a byla dlouhá 13 000 kilometrů. Což je asi 650 Třešňáků.
