Tretia kapitola Leto na dedine obsahuje recepty na pečené pirohy či buchty, ktoré sme si brávali aj na pole a pochutnávali si na nich po kosení a hrabaní. Kapitola Jeseň je o receptoch z kyslej kapusty a hríbov, ako napríklad mačanka, boršč aj preslávené holubky. Tradičná slovenská surovina zemiaky, má v knihe samostatnú kapitolu. Obsahuje recepty na lokše, nalesniky a gugeľ. Kniha je trojjazyčná, recepty sú napísané v slovenskom, rusínskom aj v anglickom jazyku. Dizajn knihy autori zverili do rúk Tomášovi Kompaníkovi, ktorý si ako predlohu zobral tradičné vzory, používané najmä na ľudových krojoch v rusínskom kraji.
