Dogmatika pre katechetickú prax IV.
Katolícka spiritualita na Slovensku má svoje korene v mariánskej úcte, ktorá ma dodnes silný ráz ľudovej zbožnosti. Tá bola a bude dôležitým prameňom pre život viery Božiu ľudu. Bolo by však veľkým ochudobnením, redukovať mariánsku spiritualitu na ľudové prejavy zbožnosti so silným emotívnym podtextom.
Na Slovensku sa objavuje ešte iná tendencia. Nie je vzácne v katolíckych kruhoch nových hnutí, badať určitú rezervovanosť voči mariánskej úcte. Často ide o hnutia ovplyvnené protestantizmom, v ktorého mnohotvárnej podobe je viac-menej odmietanie mariánskej spirituality. Nasledujúca monografia chce byť skromným a stručným predstavením niektorých línií tejto teologickej témy a tým prehĺbiť ľudovú úctu a odpovedať na radikálne odmietanie tým, že chce ukázať, že mariologický traktát je veľmi zaujímavým a inšpirujúcim traktátom pre duchovný život. Predstavuje Pannu Máriu v teológii niektorých svätcov a mystikov, v ekumenickej reflexii, v mariológiách niektorých pred a po koncilových autorov, moderných komentároch k mariánskym dogmám. Spomíname tiež niektorých slovenských mariológov (Moricová, Čaja) a ich vybrané mariologické štúdie.
Do monografie sme zaradili „mariológiu“ v niektorých údajných súkromných zjaveniach s princípmi, podľa ktorých treba tieto javy rozlišovať, aby človek neupadol do sebaklamu. Navrhujeme, aby tie posolstvá, ktoré nie sú v rozpore učením Cirkvi, boli vnímané ako meditácie, ktoré môžu obohatiť mariológiu a napomôcť k duchovnému životu. Zaradili sme medzi nej aj domáce miesta údajných zjavení (Turzovka, Litmanová, Dechtice) so stručným kritickým komentárom.
Mariologická monografia má slúžiť ako komplementárna publikácia k existujúcim mariologickým dogmatickým traktátom v slovenskom jazyku (napr. Čaja, Chovanec), ktoré na rozdiel od nej podávajú podobrenejší výklad a históriu mariánskych dogiem. Práca má byť pomôckou pre kňazov, katechétov, ale aj laikov na ceste k prehĺbeniu úcty k Matke Spasiteľa a inspiráciou k novým prístupom v niektorých pre katolíkov prijateľných pohľadov.
V jednotlivých kapitolách pripájame aj katechetické podnety, ako teoretické poznanie implementovať v konkrétnom živote. Zo strany autora chce byť monografia aj skromný prejav vďaky, lásky a úcty k Spolupracovníčke na diele nášho vykúpenia.

Mohamed hagyománya - A hadísz - Első szint
A Korán többször is arra utasítja a muszlimokat, hogy kövessék Mohamed életének tökéletes példáját. A tetteit és a szavait együttesen szunnának hívják. A szunnát Mohamed hagyományaiban lelhetjük fel, amelyet hadíszoknak neveznek. Egy muszlim számára sokkal inkább iránymutatás a hadísz, semmint a Korán. A hadísz átfogó leírást ad nekünk Mohamedről. Tudjuk, hogyan nézett ki, ismerjük a humorát, a hiedelmeit, és hogy hogyan evett. Részletesen feljegyezték a szexuális és családi életét, vezetői tevékenységét.
Ha csak a Korán létezne, nem beszélhetnénk iszlámról. A Korán nem ad elég információt az iszlám gyakorlásához, de a hadíszban megtalálható minden, ami szükséges Mohamed példájának követéséhez: apaként, vezérként vagy tökéletes férjként. A hadísz a legjobb ahhoz, hogy elkezdjünk Mohamedről és az iszlám doktrínáról tanulni.
Zsidók és keresztények az iszám alapműveiben - Második szint
Mohamed haláláig Arábia zsidó és keresztény lakosságát teljesen leigázták. Mohamed viszonya a zsidókhoz és a keresztényekhez határozza meg hogyan bánt velük a politikai iszlám az elmúlt 1400 év során. A kezdetekben Mekkában Mohamed azt állította, hogy próféciáit attól a Gábriel arkangyaltól kapta, aki Mózeshez is szólt. Mekkában még úgy állította be magát, mint aki egy a zsidó próféták sorában. Ugyanakkor a Korán az Ítélet Napjáról is beszél, ami keresztény fogalom. Később, Medinában Mohamed már üldözte a zsidókat és a keresztényeket. A dzsihád kipusztította az arab többistenhívőket, míg a zsidókat és a keresztényeket iszlamizálta.
Az politikai iszlámnak a zsidósághoz és a keresztényekhez való viszonyát kettősség jellemzi: egyrészt azt állítják, hogy a muszlimok, a zsidók és a keresztények is Ábrahám családjához tartoznak, ugyanakkor a zsidók mégis halálos ellenségek, akiket le kell igázni.
Az politikai iszlámra a kettősség jellemző a zsidókkal és a keresztényekkel való viszonyát tekintve. Ők "testvérek" a vallásban, illetve halálos ellenségek is, akiket el kell pusztítani. Nem lehet megérteni az Izraellel folytatott dzsihádot anélkül, hogy ismernénk a politikai iszlám tanítását a keresztényekről és a zsidókról.

God, Slavery, and Early Christianity
Ancient Christians understood themselves to be enslaved to God, an attitude that affected their ethics, theology, and self-understanding. This widespread belief is made especially clear in the Shepherd of Hermas, an overlooked early Christian text written by an enslaved person, which was nearly included in the New Testament. In this book, Chance Bonar provides a robust analysis of the ancient discourses and practices of slavery found in the Shepherd of Hermas. He shows how the text characterizes God's enslaved persons as useful, loyal property who could be put to work, surveilled, and disciplined throughout their lives – and the afterlife. Bonar also investigates the notion that God enslaved believers, which allowed the Shepherd to theorize key early Christian concepts more deeply and in light of ancient Mediterranean slavery. Bonar's study clarifies the depth to which early Christians were entrenched – intellectually, practically, and theologically – in Roman slave society. It also demonstrates how the Shepherd offers new approaches to early Christian literary and historical interpretation.

Al-Ghazali on Proper Conduct for Reciting the Qur?an is the eighth chapter/book of Abu Hamid al-Ghazali’s magnum opus, the Revival of the Religious Sciences (Ihya ulum al-din), a monumental work of classical Islam written by the renowned theologian-mystic Abu Hamid al-Ghazali (d. 1111). In this Book of the Revival, after establishing the pre-eminence of the Qur’an and of those who are devoted to its recitation (Chapter One), Ghazali outlines the outer proper conduct for recitation of the Qur’an (Chapter Two): the state of the reciter; the quantity of recitation; properly dividing the recitation; manner of writing; measured recitation; weeping while reciting; giving the verses their proper due; what to say before, during and on finishing one’s recitation; reciting aloud and beautifying one’s recitation.Ghazali then proceeds to identify the inner actions while reciting the Qur’an (Chapter Three): understanding the grandeur of the Speech; venerating the Speaker; maintaining presence of heart; contemplation; striving to understand; ridding oneself of barriers to understanding; self-reference; reacting to what one reads; ascension and self-negation.In the fourth and final Chapter, Ghazali deals with an issue which continues to be a source of contention today: the problem of the permissibility of generating new interpretations of the Qur?an based on personal opinion (tafsir bi’l-ra’y).This translation of Book VIII also includes a translation of Imam Ghazali’s own Introduction to the Revival of the Religious Sciences which gives the reasons that caused him to write the work, and which gives the structure of the whole of the Revival and places each of the forty Books in the context of the others.
