Učebnice Czech Express 2 navazuje na předchozí díl Czech Express 1, spolu s ní představuje kurz „češtiny pro přežití“. Oba díly jsou určeny začátečníkům, kteří chtějí rychle a s minimem gramatiky (ale ne bez gramatiky) dosáhnout jazykové úrovně A1. Krátké a svižně koncipované lekce seznamují studenty s dalšími komunikačními situacemi a pomáhají jim se v nich zorientovat (např. lekce Hotel, byt, dům; Doprava; U doktora apod.). Složitá česká gramatika je tu maximálně zjednodušena a pády jsou prezentovány pomocí snadno zapamatovatelných modelů. Autorka, známá svým moderním a progresivním přístupem k výuce jazyka, vzala tentokrát v úvahu i starou učitelskou moudrost, že dril je „nudný, ale nutný“. Proto oba svazky přinášejí užitečná drilová cvičení, která posílí zapamatování nově osvojené látky. Ani v tomto svazku nechybí množství fotografií, ilustrací, cvičení a drilů, ale připravena je i nová „porce“ komiksů. Stejně jako první svazek, ani Czech Express 2 nezatěžuje studenty složitým gramatickým výkladem, ale preferuje rozvoj komunikačních dovedností. Anglicky jsou pouze gramatické tabulky, slovníček a přeložené texty z jednotlivých kapitol. Proto učebnice mohou používat i samouci. Učebnici též dobře využijí letní intenzivní kurzy. Oba svazky jsou doplněny zvukovým CD a korespondují s výukovým CD-ROMem Czech Express, vydaným firmou Langmaster.
