Hitlerova sbírka v Čechách
Od druhé světové války uplynuly desítky let a stíny Třetí říše padají na naši zemi dodnes. Soukromá sbírka Adolfa Hitlera je pojem, který vstoupil do světových dějin jako jedna z nejrozsáhlejších uměleckých kolekcí všech dob. Vedle konfiskací a velkorysých nákupů byla její součástí díla, která Vůdce osobně koupil během Velkých německých výstav umění, pořádaných v Mnichově v letech 1937-1945.
Desítky uměleckých předmětů z Hitlerových mnichovských nákupů, pocházející zejména z let 1939-1943, byly za války převezeny do cisterciáckého kláštera ve Vyšším Brodu. V létě 1945 byly prohlášeny za protihodnotu toho, co bylo předtím "z vyšebrodského kláštera během války vyvezeno".
Po zveřejnění prvního dílu knihy Hitlerova sbírka v Čechách se objevila řada nečekaných souvislostí a také mnoho nových otázek. Druhý díl přibližuje svět, který byl nejen těžištěm uměleckého proudu Třetí říše, ale také tvůrčí sféru, která byla Vůdci nejbližší. Obsahuje především obrazy, které v Mnichově osobně nakoupil a které osudovým příběhem dějin zůstaly na konci druhé světové války v Čechách. Vedle toho v ní najdete několik darů a také legendami opředený stůl, na němž opravdu nebyla podepsána mnichovská dohoda. Tato kniha je odkazem na dobu jejich vzniku, na mnohé pozoruhodné tvůrce, a především na umělecké a společenské ovzduší, ve kterém tvořili. Přibližuje osudy tří desítek malířů a jejich prací z doby německého národního socialismu, stejně jako několika dalších umělců této zvláštní éry dějin, kdy se nietzschovský ideál Nadčlověka vtělil do hmoty a umění se stalo integrální součástí budování státu.

Současná světová literatura, ukázky z překladů, povídky, eseje, rozhovory, texty českých a slovenských autorů, barevná příloha moderního výtvarného umění. Ještě v 19. století se cizí lidé při seznamování v prvé řadě zajímali o to, z jaké rodiny a odkud kdo pochází, ostatně tento starý zvyk přetrvává v některých tradičních společnostech stále, dnes se však mnohem častěji ptáme na to, co kdo dělá. "Povolání je páteř života," píše Nietzsche na konci 70. let předminulého století, a toto konstatování neztratilo nic ze své platnosti. Téma práce je v našem životě všudypřítomné, bez ohledu na to, zda se jí snažíme vyhýbat, nebo jsme naopak propadli svodům workoholismu. Většina z nás se pohybuje někde mezi oběma extrémy, ovšem s vědomím, že málokde lze udržet rovnováhu, natož trvalou spokojenost, tak obtížně jako v této oblasti. Pokud si naše pozdně kapitalistická společnost hýčká nějaký kult, je to právě kult práce, který tady ovšem nebyl odedávna, jak se nás snaží podbízivě přesvědčit argumenty ekonomických neoliberálů.

Tetování na Markézách
Během pobytu na Markézách v roce 1921 pořídila autorka kresby a fotografie tetování na tělech domorodců. Protože tetování je dnes v této zemi zákonem zakázáno a tudíž vymírá, tato kolekce posledních exemplářů tetování, které dnes existují na Markézách, si žádá komplementární kolekci informací, co se týče praxe tohoto umění a konečně, že tyto krásné motivy by mohly být částečně započítány a jednoho dne zaujmout své zasloužené místo v historii umění. Data byla získána od domorodců, kteří byli tetovaní, jednoho starého tuhuny, umělce, který prováděl tetování, a z literárních zdrojů, a tak byl dán dohromady poměrně přesný obrázek tohoto zvyku. Diskuze o samotných vzorech, o kterých dnes domorodci neví nic kromě jejich názvů, je převzatá v duchu ocenění a ve víře, že návrhy nabídnuté vhledem k evoluci a významu této formy umění můžou odkrýt další možnosti a vést k přesvědčivějším interpretacím tohoto umění. Kniha je doplněna rozsáhlou galerií tetování.
