The Faking Game - A színjáték (Milliárdosok játszmái 1.)
A bátyám sosem szerezhet tudomást erről.

The New Dark Ages
The world we knew is passing away and nothing will ever be the same again.
Welcome to the post-literate society. Books are dying. Across the world the number of people reading is in free fall. Literacy is declining or stagnating in most developed countries. At universities, students are unable to read the books assigned to them. Addictive digital entertainment technologies have colonised our free time with infantilising ‘slop’. For the first time since the collapse of the Western Roman Empire ushered in the Dark Ages, the golden chain of knowledge linking reader to reader through the centuries is breaking. The decline in reading is the most important cultural shift of our time. The New Dark Ages is an impassioned defence of the written word and an attack on the trivial and meaningless culture of the screen. Drawing on history and classic works of literature and theory, The New Dark Ages argues that reading and writing are essential for innovation, creativity and critical thinking.Above all, the culture of print is essential to the functioning of modern democracies which require their citizens to grapple with ideas at length and in depth. And as print dies, we risk returning to the chaos, tribalism, and rage of a pre-literate society.
Fenomén Ostravsko
Kniha o území, kde už dávno nenajdete jen uhlí, ocel, kouř a průmysl. Autoři vás provedou Ostravou, městem v minulosti těžce zkoušeným, dnes městem moderním, obklopeným přírodou, řekami a rybníky.

Napínavé vyšetřování odhaluje spletité mezilidské vztahy a příčiny vedoucí ke spáchání zločinu. Ať už je vrahem kdokoliv, zkušenému Josefu Bergmanovi nakonec neunikne.
Někdo to udělat musel - limitované vydání

Last Night I Dreamt
'As compelling as any du Maurier mystery - an extraordinary family saga wonderfully told' GYLES BRANDRETH'An unforgettable portrait of Daphne du Maurier' TATIANA DE ROSNAY, author of Manderley Forever
An intimate, revelatory family biography of the iconic writer Daphne du Maurier and her famous ancestors, by her eldest grandson
Born into a well-known artistic dynasty, Daphne du Maurier grew up in an atmosphere of carefree privilege - but at a time when women of her class were not expected to have a career. She however defied convention and moved to Cornwall to pursue her ambition to become a writer. There, over six decades, she dreamt up the stories that have sold tens of millions of copies worldwide and still haunt our cultural imagination, including Rebecca, Jamaica Inn and 'The Birds'.Last Night I Dreamt explores how the turbulence and contradictions of Daphne's own life - spanning war, complex family dynamics, a marriage to a renowned but damaged general, and unrequited love - inspired her writing. It also uncovers the powerful influence of her notable forebears, in particular her domineering father Gerald, the most famous actor-manager of his generation; her grandfather George, a renowned Victorian novelist and cartoonist; and the mistress to the Duke of York, Mary Anne Clarke, another woman who refused to obey the rules.
Paul de Zulueta, Daphne's grandson, has drawn on private family archives, new interviews and his own memories of his grandmother, a woman who was central to his early life. In doing so, he gives us an extraordinary look into the world of Daphne du Maurier with rare closeness and emotional candour, and a moving portrait of one of the great British artistic families of the 19th and 20th centuries.
