Magyarország kétszer játszott döntőt foci-vb-n: 1938-ban és 1954-ben. A kettő között mindössze 16 év van, és mindkettő a magyar foci – nagyjából 1910 és 1966 között tartó – nagy korszakának kiemelkedő és szimbolikus eseménye. Ultrazvukové vyšetření a léčba dětského kyčelního kloubu
Poslední monografie o ultrazvukovém vyšetření dětského kyčelního kloubu vyšla před téměř třiceti lety. Od té doby se sjednotil princip vyšetření a prevence vývojové dysplazie kyčelního kloubu, došlo k výraznému snížení rtg expozice u dětí a rovněž díky včasné diagnostice ke značnému snížení nutných operačních zákroků.
Léčba a prevence vrozených a vývojových vad kyčelního kloubu u dětí má v naší zemi dlouholetou tradici. Systém současných kontrol, tzv. systém trojího síta, je jedním z nejpropracovanějších metodických pokynů a stává se vzorem pro mnoho dalších zemí. Došlo rovněž k úpravě věstníku — metodického pokynu vyšetřování dětských kyčelních kloubů – která v sobě zahrnuje nutnost ultrazvukového vyšetření kyčlí a podstatně omezuje dosud používaný systém rtg kontrol.
Snahou autorů je zavést jednotný systém vyšetření, klasifikace a návazné léčby vývojové dysplazie kyčelního kloubu (VDK). V nové monografii je uvedena také taktika léčby VDK dle celosvětových trendů a kapitola o vyšetření výpotku kyčelního kloubu. Publikace umožní správnou orientaci při vyšetření ultrazvukovou technikou a přispěje k časné detekci a adekvátní léčbě vývojových a vrozených vad kyčelního kloubu.
Publikace by měla sjednotit prevenci a detekci VDK – vyšetření u pediatra, ortopeda i na sonografických a rtg pracovištích.

Pracovní lékařství se komplexně zabývá vztahem mezi prací a zdravím člověka. Tento obor stanovuje požadavky na vytvoření bezpečného a zdravého pracovního prostředí, řeší přizpůsobení práce schopnostem pracovníků s přihlédnutím k jejich tělesnému a duševnímu zdraví, zabývá se podporou zdraví pracovníků včetně posuzování jejich zdravotní způsobilosti k práci. Kniha dále zohledňuje požadavky Rámcové směrnice 89/391 EHS, definuje základní pojmy jako nebezpečí, riziko a jeho hodnocení, řízení, komunikace a vnímání. Probírá problematiku zátěží organismu působením fyzikálních, chemických, biologických a psychofyziologických faktorů. Obsahuje doporučení k analýze a hodnocení rizik při práci, která jsou využitelná pro každodenní praxi poskytovatelů pracovnělékařských služeb (pracovních a praktických lékařů) a spolupracujících oborů (např. neurologie, ortopedie, ORL, oftalmologie), uvádí zásady prohlídek pracovišť, smysl, náplně a lhůty lékařských preventivních prohlídek. Přehledně shrnuje nemoci z povolání, ohrožení z nemocí z povolání, pracovní úrazy i nemoci spojené s prací. Zmiňuje aktuální problematiku rizik užívání návykových látek a podrobně rozebírá vztah lékaře a jeho smluvního zaměstnavatele. Kniha obsahuje i nezbytný terminologický slovník, přehled evropské a národní legislativy a mezinárodní standardy.
