Alfa Romeo 916 GTV and Spider
Alfa Romeo 916 GTV and Spider traces the complete story of the Alfa Romeo GTV and Spider models produced between 1994 - 2005, commonly known to enthusiasts by the manufacturer's project code as the 916 series. The 916 models would always be controversial - they replaced the iconic Spider, the best-selling Alfa Romeo sports model of all time, and the brand-establishing Alfetta GTV. Sharing components and a platform with a humble Fiat hatchback, would the cars ever be considered 'real' Alfa Romeos? The cars were critically acclaimed, and, though they faced tough competition in the late 1990s from the likes of the Audi TT, they remained in production for over a decade.

And beyond those walls, Wren can’t help but worry that Cross is keeping secrets of his own. . . secrets that could jeopardise everything. Complicating matters even further is her shocking reunion with hotshot fighter pilot and undercover operative, Grayson Blake. Once her closest friend in Silver Elite, Gray seems to understand Wren on a level she never thought possible. AND THE FIGHT FOR THE FUTURE OF THE CONTINENT IS ONLY JUST BEGINNING. With the war between Mods and Primes growing more brutal by the day, and with her own role in the conflict becoming more essential than ever, Wren must confront some gut-wrenching questions.

Spája sci-fi s filozofiou, spiritualitou a spoločenskou kritikou.

Roger Fry
Roger Fry (1866–1934) and his role as critic, curator and member of the Bloomsbury Group are explored in this rich and vibrant biography.Roger Fry (1866–1934) and his role as critic, curator and member of the Bloomsbury Group are explored in this rich and vibrant biography. From his curation of one of the most important collections in New York and groundbreaking exhibitions in London, to his launch of the Omega Workshops with Vanessa Bell and Duncan Grant, Fry introduced post-impressionism, radicalized interiors and changed the landscape of 20th-century art. His introduction of Cézanne, Van Gogh and Matisse to the British audience played a significant role in a legacy that still inspires today. Often overlooked, Fry was one of the most influential figures in 20th-century art in Britain, giving a generation of modern British artists their first exhibitions, while also creating art himself. Roger Fry: Bloomsbury and the Invention of Modern Art offers a compelling portrait of his extraordinary career and his pivotal role in redefining British art.

S břitkým humorem a ostrostí, jíž se nelze vyhnout, rozpitvává svět, v němž diktaturu pojebariátu nevystřídal řád ani rozum, nýbrž kapitán Korporán, botoxy a asociální sítě.
A už navždy…

A three-volume English translation by the eminent Islamicist Franz Rosenthal was first published in 1958 as part of the Bollingen Series, garnering immediate international acclaim. A one-volume abridged version followed in 1969.
