Senza Parole
It takes enviable skill and dedication to achieve mastery in the arts. Yet even more remarkable is the artist who widens his scope to venture beyond his already widely acclaimed signature style. Few would dare to even consider such a risk...However, in Senza Parole, Marc Lagrange is audacious enough to make that thrilling leap as he boldly showcases a broad array of distinctive approaches-everything from starkly straight nude studies-in the honourable tradition of Helmut Newton-to Lagrange's more typically intricate and exotic compositions. The photographer's devoted followers will still find the dream-like eroticism he is known for, yet, in this work, each photograph is one of a kind, with Lagrange's hallmark of technical perfection. As one would expect from Lagrange, each tableau is carefully configured with not a single detail left to chance.

In this finely crafted collection, French photographer Laurent Baheux uses the medium of black-and-white photography to capture the intricate details of both the wondrous beasts and the magnificent settings in which they dwell. This wide-ranging volume lays particular emphasis on his subjects' individual spirits-revealing all of their vulnerability while losing nothing of their raw vitality. Every photograph is so carefully composed and well lit that the details equal the evocative precision of an Old Masters portrait. Through Baheux's eyes we get close to creatures that will both inspire and humble us all.

Photography
The subjects Christian Voigt photographs are incredibly diverse: a tattoo studio in Buenos Aires is at home in his repertoire next to New York's Morgan Library, while an enchanting landscape in Myanmar is juxtaposed with the clean lines of Amsterdam's Rijksmuseum. He uses analog and digital large-format cameras to create the desired effect of a greatly condensed image. And although the result generally gets a digital fine-tuning, Voigt stresses that he develops his unique visual language with his camera, not a computer. Intense artificial colour and imposing formats, such as his museum series with images that are eight meters wide, make viewers gape in awe and wonder. Voigt travels the world searching for interesting stories, which he then retells for us most impressively in his series of photographs.

New York, Serge Ramelli
Black-and-white urban photography has a unique effect: It can lend a historical feel or bring out perspectives and surfaces in a special way. Serge Ramelli's New York photos do both--and much more. With his film director's eye, he searches out locations using parameters that evoke a specific atmosphere and build tension. The New York skyline or typical New York street scenes are stylized into a stage--but a stage where nothing is required to happen. Their impressiveness is so heightened that a movie automatically plays in the viewer's head. With New York boasting so much history and evocativeness, nothing more is needed. Although he is similar to Ansel Adams in technique and expression, Serge Ramelli is a contemporary photographer in every sense of the word, constantly experimenting with new technical options

The Pininfarina Book
What is innovation? The dictionary defines it as "renewal through the use of new processes and technologies." In advertising, everything is an innovation. But what is truly innovative? Since 1930, the Pininfarina design firm of Turin, Italy, has been answering that question. This is where the Cistalia 202 was developed, the first vehicle to be added to MoMA's permanent collection. The list goes on: the interior of the new stadium for Juventus Turin, the Nash Healey Spider seen in Billy Wilder's Sabrina, and the legendary Ferrari Dino 246 and Ferrari Testarossa. However, Pininfarina is not resting on its laurels, but blasting full speed ahead into the future with an expanded portfolio while honoring its heritage. Whether it's a solution for sustainable mobility, interior designs, or household gadgets, all Pininfarina projects bear an unmistakable signature. To visually celebrate the history and influence of Pininfarina, there is no one better suited than a man who has made his own unmistakable mark on automotive photography. Gunther Raupp has spent 30 years photographing cars for Ferrari's official calendars, which enjoy a cult following among the experts. He has two successful books with teNeues, the most recent being The Ferrari Book. As a star photographer and connoisseur of industrial design, Raupp showcases a company that embodies true italianita.
