Hogyan utazzuk be a világot napi 3533 forintból?
Hétköznapi házaspár vagyunk, ám volt egy nem hétköznapi ötletünk, amelyet meg is valósítottunk. Esküvőnk után világ körüli útra indultunk, és négy évig ez az utazás volt az életünk: 1550 nap alatt 46 országban jártunk. Álltunk vulkánok tetején, láttuk a tengerek színes világát a felszín alatt, kerékpároztunk a Pamír fagyos hágóin a tél kezdetekor, és a legnagyobb trópusi hőségben az egyenlítő mentén. Felejthetetlen élményeket éltünk át, nagyon kevés pénzből. Megtanultunk olcsón és okosan enni, közlekedni és szállást találni. Naponta átlagosan 3533 forintot költöttünk fejenként, amiben minden benne volt. A legtöbb úton szerzett tapasztalatot azonban nagyszerű lett volna tudni már induláskor is. Mások dolgát ezért szeretnénk megkönnyíteni ezzel a könyvvel, melyben - izgalmas személyes történeteink mellett - rengeteg hasznos információt gyűjtöttünk össze.
Miből éltünk négy évig az úton, amikor már két év után elfogyott az indulótőkénk? Hogyan szereztünk munkavízumot Új-Zélandon? Hogyan tanultuk meg a helyi nyelveket alapszinten, és miért volt ez rettentő hasznos? Miként szereztünk barátokat szerte a világon?
De kitérünk a kalandunk érzelmi részére is. Hogyan tudtunk ennyire élvezni egy ilyen hosszú, viszontagságos utazást, ami közben az életformánkká is vált? Miként győztük le a honvágyat és a félelmeinket? Hogyhogy nem vesztünk össze soha, miközben egyikünk a hegyekért, másikunk a gyönyörű tengerpartokért van oda? Hogyan látjuk most a világot, milyen újra itthon lenni és letelepedve élni, ennyi élmény és tapasztalat után?
Mindemellett azt is elmeséljük, hogy ma mit csinálnánk másképp, hiszen az indulás óta sok nagyszerű új lehetőség nyílt a még könnyebb és olcsóbb utazáshoz.
