Juli Zeh (1974) német író és jogász. Németország egyik legsikeresebb regényírója, sokféle műfajban otthonosan mozgó alkotó, publicistaként pedig aktívan nyilvánít véleményt társadalompolitikai kérdésekben is. Számos díj kitüntetettje, többek között megkapta a Német Könyvdíjat, a Thomas Mann-díjat és a Heinrich Böll-díjat. Könyveit harmincöt nyelvre fordították le.
