Deník I. 1948-1956
První svazek monumentálního deníkového díla významného českého filmového režiséra. Nejde o běžný deník, ale o vyzrálé literární dílo, jedinečnou kroniku své doby. Z Juráčkova deníku vyšla dosud jen část zachycující šedesátá léta. Již ta ukázala, že jde o mimořádné dílo hodnoty nejen dokumentární. Pavel Juráček chtěl být a byl především spisovatel. Psal povídky, filmové povídky, scénáře a tento deník, dílo zachycující život v Československu v průběhu třiceti let, a následně i v exilu v Německé spolkové republice. Juráček měl dramatický a vypravěčský talent, byl mistrem popisu, charakterizace a dialogu. Svůj deník psal rukou do 33. vázaných sešitů formátu A5. Přítomná edice poprvé shrnuje celek Juráčkova deníkového díla v celku – ve čtyřech objemných svazcích. První svazek obsahuje texty psané od roku 1948 do roku 1956. Edici z autorových rukopisů k vydání připravila a svazek jmenným rejstříkem a ediční poznámkou opatřila Marie Kratochvílová.
Umřít pro film
Umřít pro film? rozhodně není obvyklá memoárová kniha o tom jak jsme kdy co natáčeli a jak u toho bývalo veselo. Naopak – vypráví především o osudech celé dlouhé řady vesměs významných českých umělců i umělkyň, jejichž osudy film, televize či umění vůbec zásadním způsobem poznamenaly. Dříve, ale především v našich časech. Jak ale přehledně uvádím v obsahu knížky, hovořím přitom ve třech základních kapitolách o nejrůznějších motivech, které dovedly tyto význačné osobnosti až tak daleko, aby sloužily svému umění doslova až do roztrhání těla anebo aby se jím nechaly fatálně poznamenat, stejně jako připomínám ty velikány, kteří si vzali život vlastní rukou, opět zpravidla v příčinné souvislosti právě s nejpopulárnějším uměním. Přitom čtenář sám najde přesvědčivou odpověď na smysl základní otázky, položené v úvodním titulu, nejen díky pravdivému vylíčení těchto životů, nýbrž také ve výpovědích mnohých kolegů, mých známých z oboru, i ve slovech skutečných žijících klasiků.

Herečku Antonii Hegerlíkovou si vybavíme především ve spojitosti s rolí laskavé a milující maminky v seriálu režiséra Františka Filipa F. L. Věk. Byla taková i ve skutečnosti. Laskavá, přátelská, upřímná, někdy až trochu naivní. Její život je neskutečná směsice komedie s tragédií. Narodila se v Bratislavě, dětství prožila v Žilině.
