Čtivě napsaná autobiografie Gena Deitche o neuvěřitelných osudových zvratech významného amerického filmaře, který spoluutvářel československé dějiny animovaného filmu. Gene Deitch, držitel Oskara za animovaný film z roku 1961, byl v roce 1959 vyslán proti své vůli do Prahy navázat kontakt s československými animátory. Vymínil si, že v komunistické zemi nezůstane více než 10 dní, ale osudové setkání s producentkou studia Bratři v triku Zdenkou Najmanovou protáhlo jeho pobyt v Praze až do dnešních dnů.
Díky Deitchovým vazbám se v Československu vyráběly animované filmy, které se brzy proslavily po celém světě. Málokdo ví, že seriál Tom a Jerry nebo některé díly Pepka námořníka se vyráběly v Praze. Vtipný nadhled Gena Deitche na realitu komunistického Československa se vyhýbá zavedeným klišé, aniž by přitom realitu jakkoliv přikrášlovaly. Zajímavé je bezpochyby i líčení historek s významnými osobnostmi pražské Kampy a světa animovaného filmu Jiřím Trnkou, Jiřím Brdečkou nebo Janem Werichem.
Významnou součástí knihy jsou i poprvé uveřejněné Trnkovy návrhy postav k animovanému filmu Hobit, který měl Deitch točit v Praze v době, kdy Tolkienovo dílo bylo ještě zcela neznámé.

Andrássy Gyula nagy formátumú politikus volt, igazi államférfi.
A szabadságharc végén a Szemere-kormány megbízásából külföldi diplomáciai útjáról nem térhetett haza, 1851-ben távollétében halálra ítélték, és jelképesen felakasztották a szabadságharcban való részvételéért. Kisebb megszakításokkal a francia fővárosban élt ezután, ahol élénken részt vett a társasági életben. Kora egyik legszebb férfijának tartották. A párizsi hölgyek a "szép akasztott" (le beau pendu) néven emlegették.
Kozári Monika könyve Andrássy magyar miniszterelnöki tevékenységére helyezi a hangsúlyt, ugyanakkor ez a munka életrajz is, Külön fejezet foglalkozik Erzsébet királynéval való kapcsolatával. Nagyon sok idézetet használ fel, azzal a szándékkal, hogy Andrássyt beszéltesse, bemutatva, miként gondolkodott.
Jó barátja, az emigrációban öngyilkos lett Schmiedegg Kálmán gróf a búcsúlevelében ezt írta Andrássynak: "Gyula, Te nagy dolgokra vagy hivatva.
