Tehdy ač teprve vycházející hvězda Barcelony, avšak už šampion Španělska a vítěz Ligy mistrů a s Argentinou mistr světa dvacítek. „Jdu fotit kalendář, budu koupat jednoho chlapečka,“ řekne v prosinci 2007 na tréninku svému idolu Ronaldinhovi – a naprosto nic netušíce – učiní při oplachování neznámého snědého mimina první a jakýsi magický dotek. Messi tehdy nemohl samozřejmě vůbec tušit, že sám získá osm Zlatých míčů pro nejlepšího fotbalistu planety, a už vůbec ne, že v šatně Barcelony na Camp No právě koupe svého možného nástupce. A já se vydávám po stopách "Messiho magického doteku". Jak jsem před lety zíral udiveně na fotbalový chrám Barcy, přirozeně nevědoucí, že v jeho útrobách Leo koupal zázračné dítě, tak jsem byl emocemi zasažen v Mataró, stotisícovém město dalekém luxusu, spíše oáze nejrůznějších migrantů, poblíž metropole Katalánska. Seznamuji se se skromnou čtvrtí Rocafonda, kde je zápas o chleba každodenní všedností a kde v domě se starou pekárnou započal obdivuhodný příběh Lamineho, mého mladého hrdiny. Nahlížím do obchodu, který dodnes provozují jeho strýček a jeden ze třiadvaceti bratránků. Vchod zdobí nástěnná malba Yamala v barcelonském triku, doplněná vlajkami Maroka (země otce Mounira) a Rovníkové Guineje (země matky Sheily) a chlapcova rodného Španělska. Tady hned vedle na betonovém plácku začínal s fotbalem stejně jako mnoho kluků a holek ze střední, a hlavně chudší, třídy. Rodiče tady prostě na registrační poplatky v klubech nemají. Maličký kluk nejdříve sledoval, jak s balonem dovádějí táta a bratranec. Kulatou hračku si rychle zamiloval. „Strávil jsem více času na hřišti než doma. Pokaždé, když jsem vyšel na ulici, hráli jsme fotbal. Tyto zážitky ve mně zůstaly,“ svěřil se Lamine. Chlapec má sedm a na betonu v Rocafondě si ho všimne skaut Barcy a čerstvý školák se ocitá v proslulé akademii velkoklubu La Masia. Lamineho talent velice vnímá Fernando Llorente, reprezentant Španělska a hráč FC Sevilla, zvaný El Rey León neboli Lví král. „Ani Messi nebyl v jeho věku na takové úrovni. Dělá neuvěřitelné věci, nemůže být s nikým srovnáván.“ Sám malý i mladý Yamal mnoho jiných srovnání vyslechl už nesčetněkrát, ale nic s ním nedělají, naopak vědom si respektu i úcty k legendě, vysloví: „S Messim mě nesrovnávejte. Je nemožné se mu vyrovnat. Nikdy nikdo nebude jako Messi.“ Autor přesto oba – velikána a jeho nástupce – postaví vedle sebe v příloze LAMINE - Lionel a Cristiano. Jako by se ho dotkl fotbalový bůh.“ Ostatně ono se díky Messimu tak stalo! Tímto vším v čase evropského šampionátu euforicky žila velká rodina také v rocafondském baru El Cordobés, kde jsem se setkal s Lamineho tátou Mounirem a nadšenými fanoušky. „Můj syn bojoval o svůj sen a na něj dosáhl,“ svěřil mi Mounir Nasraoui. Co vlastně ten kluk dělá, co umí tak zvláštního a výjimečného? Dokáže se bleskovou kličkou či driblinkem uvolnit z uzavřeného prostoru, proniknout ke středu ze svého pravého křídla stylem á la Nizozemec Aarjen Robben, přihrát do šance anebo vypálit skvělou levačkou, kterou vstřelil tak výstavní gól Francii. Něco podobného předvádějí z levé strany parťák z nároďáku Nico Williams, hvězda Bilbaa, či v Bílém baletu Vinicius Junior. Právě tyto dvě zářící mladé hvězdy stejně jako dalších 18 dalších skvělých hráčů autor představuje ve speciální příloze symbolicky nazvané „TOP 20 STARS MUNDIALU 2026“. Možná se z nich jednou stanou „VLÁDCI FOTBALU“, jak autor nazval druhou speciální přílohu o opravdových velikánech. Avšak kdo podobným způsobem jako Lamine či Nico a brazilský „Vini“ téměř dvě desítky let rozkládá obrany soupeřů a činí gólmany bezmocnými? No přece ikonický Messi! „Yamal je levonohý, chodí dovnitř zprava. Jsou v něm záblesky Messiho, ale mluvíme o nejlepším hráči všech dob, takže je moudřejší nesrovnávat,“ upozorňuje Xavi. „Téměř vždy se rozhodne správně. To je ve fotbale nejtěžší. Nerad to slovo používám, ale Lamine je výjimečný. Má v hlavě bohatě rozvětvený strom bleskových úsudků – košatou korunu variant. Najde řešení za všech okolností.“ A co ještě mimořádného jsem u Yamala vypozoroval? Nehraje pouze fotbal, on se hrou baví a přenáší na fanoušky svou radost.
