Poruchy chůze a stability
Monografie Poruchy chůze a stability je první publikací v domácím písemnictví, která se této mezioborové problematice věnuje. Hlavní editorka knihy MUDr. Martina Hoskovcová, Ph.D., stejně jako celý kolektiv autorů, se této problematice věnují dlouhodobě. Editorský tým pochází z Hennerovy neurologické kliniky, kde se výzkumem poruch chůze zabývají už více než 20 let.
Zdánlivě úzkou problematiku překračuje, protože v Obecné části pojednává i o anatomii, neurofyziologii, kineziologii a ontogenezi chůze a stability, a zohledňuje také vliv stárnutí na tyto funkce. Současně detailně představuje základní diferenciálnědiagnostickou rozvahu pro klasifikaci obou poruch a obecný postup při jejich vyšetřování, který originálně integruje pohled neurologa a fyzioterapeuta. Představeny jsou rovněž klinické a přístrojové metody vyšetření.
Speciální část se zaměřuje na klinický obraz poruch chůze a stability, specifika vyšetření a současné trendy v léčbě u širokého spektra neurologických diagnóz. Předmětem jednotlivých kapitol jsou poruchy chůze a stability v důsledku postižení periferních nervů, svalů a kostry, mozečku a vestibulárního aparátu, z důvodu spastické parézy, u Parkinsonovy nemoci, u dystonie a dalších hyperkinetických syndromů, ale také u funkčních (psychogenních) poruch. Klíč k neuroradiologické diagnostice
Kniha vede čtenáře k rychlému stanovení diagnózy, při nejasném výsledku diferenciální diagnostiky pak ke správné orientaci v příslušné speciální monografii. Je členěna podle jednotlivých klinických jednotek se snahou o maximální možnou stručnost a přehlednost sdělení. Na úvod u každého onemocnění je „klíč“ k diagnostice, se základními údaji o dané nemoci. Následují neuroradiologické informace, převažující nálezy při vyšetření magnetickou rezonancí a výpočetní tomografií, respektive výsledky zobrazení, klinické údaje a diferenciální diagnostika. Obrazová část je pouze ilustrační, jedná se o výstupy z různých přístrojů a různých časových období. U jednotlivých diagnóz jsou uvedeny kazuistiky, které jsou různě rozsáhlé, v závislosti na dostupné zdravotnické dokumentaci.

Základní a aplikovaná farmakokinetika
Publikace je určena jak pro pregraduální vzdělávání, tak pro postgraduální vzdělávání mediků a farmaceutů, popřípadě dalších oborů přírodních věd. Poskytuje nejen obecné základy, ale i praktické návody a výpočty potřebné pro dávkování konkrétních léků v klinické praxi.

Komunitní péče
V posledních letech čelíme událostem s celosvětovým dopadem. Období pandemie covidu-19 vyvolalo změny ve fungování lidské společnosti a jednou z nejvíce zatížených oblastí se stalo zdravotnictví. Ukázalo se, že zdravotnické instituce v době krizových situací nemohou přes veškerou snahu kapacitně zvládnout nápor nemocných, a proto přišla na pořad dne i jiná řešení, např. dobrovolnická činnost.
Zároveň jsme v ekonomicky rozvinutých zemích svědky nejen rozvoje možností medicíny, ale i dlouhodobějších demografických změn, které jsou spojeny s nárůstem výskytu chronických a invalidizujících chorob, což opět klade vyšší nároky na zdravotnické instituce i pečující blízké.
Taktéž tzv. medicinalizace našeho života, při níž je řešení řady životních situací přesunuto do prostředí zdravotnických institucí, s sebou nese jako následek neustálé zvyšování nároků na zdravotnictví.
Zároveň je prokazatelné, že zdravotnické instituce nejsou vždy ideální volbou ani z hlediska uživatele a náležitého zajištění všech jeho potřeb.
Jednou z možností, jak ulevit přetíženému zdravotnickému systému a zároveň zabezpečit potřeby uživatelů péče, je důraz na podporu rozvoje různých forem komunitní péče. Některé z nich se dlouhodobě a poměrně svébytně rozvíjí i v České republice. Protože však od napsání posledních českých monografií na toto téma uplynulo již více než deset let, jsou možnosti využití komunitní péče, které jsou nyní k dispozici, poněkud nepřehledné.
Tato monografie je tak určena především stávajícím a budoucím zdravotníkům (u nichž je v současnosti výuka komunitní péče nedílnou součástí profesní přípravy), ale i dalším pomáhajícím profesím, např. sociálním pracovníkům, s cílem přinést ucelený přehled aktuálních mezinárodních a národních strategií podpory zdraví a komunitní péče, dále přehled nabízených služeb komunitní péče s důrazem na oblast podpory zdraví.
