A Kossuth-díjas költő Tőzsér Árpád (1935) verseket és "versesszéket" tartalmazó új könyve az elmúlt évek terméséből válogat. Sajátos nyelvhasználat, magyar és világirodalmi kontextusba helyezett versbeszéd, karantén-lét, a "vénség lírájának" filozófiája. Mindez olyan pozícióból szólal meg, mintha "a vers homályából valóban feléd intene a költők s a mély egek szótlan istene". A kötet szellemi iránya visszafelé tart - a lét bázisa, a születés felé.

Výber z poézie ruskej exilovej poetky, novinárky a disidentky Natalie Gorbanevskej v preklade Jána Štrassera.

Zárodky básně vznikly v Paříži v roce 1957, kde si Ginsberg společně s beatnickými tvůrci Gregorym Corsem, Peterem Orlovskym a později i Williamem S. Burroughsem prostřednictvím halucinogenů rozšiřoval sféru vědomí. Básnická sbírka Kadiš a jiné básně (Kaddish and Other Poems), kterou Allen Ginsberg vydal v roce 1961 u Lawrence Ferlinghettiho v nakladatelství City Lights Books, obsahuje jeho básně z konce padesátých let (19581960) v již klasickém překladu Jana Zábrany. Čtyři dosud nepřeložené básně pak přeložil Bob Hýsek.

Paraszomnia

Szabó Fanni költészete elvont és furcsa, nehéz és zavart keltő. Megosztó, mint az igazi ínyencségek. Ám akit magával ragad, annak rendhagyó élményei lesznek: egy egzotikus filozófiai és érzelmi világutazás. Tudatos fürdőzés a kollektív tudattalanban. Umami.

Hovorí o veciach, o ktorých uvažujeme aj my, no zväčša si tieto myšlienky nechávame pre seba. Okrem svojich zvyčajných tém v poslednej zbierke zmieňuje neúprosnú fyzickú bolesť a znechutenie z vlastnej bezmocnosti.

Space Between Us

A universal narrative on the significance of distance with love; remember to hold on to what you believe in. Ideal for those "whose love knows no bounds," The Space Between Us is full of profound anecdotes and messages, illustrating the courage and heartache of enduring physical distance. The Space Between Us explores the trials of love and what it's like to live a life separated by distance from someone you care about. Its content is thoughtfully divided into five chapters, or phases, of the long-distance experience: At First Glance Living for Tomorrow Lonely Nights Grow Together/Grow Apart When I See You. A combination of poems and prose are sporadically connected with small graphics and maps to visualize the journey of physical distance. These poems serve as an adhesive between the reader and the ones they miss, the longing, the anticipation, and the eventual relief. Though both authors bring with them a unique perspective, the lens is singular; each is attuned to navigating this complex terrain.

Dearly

The collection of a lifetime from the bestselling novelist, poet -- and cultural phenomenon Before she became one of the world's most important and loved novelists, Margaret Atwood was a poet. Dearly is her first collection in over a decade. It brings together many of her most recognisable and celebrated themes, but distilled -- from minutely perfect descriptions of the natural world to startlingly witty encounters with aliens, from pressing political issues to myth and legend. By turns moving, playful and wise, the poems gathered in Dearly are about absences and endings, ageing and retrospection, but also about gifts and renewals. They explore bodies and minds in flux, as well as the everyday objects and rituals that embed us in the present. Werewolves, sirens and dreams make their appearance, as do various forms of animal life and fragments of our damaged environment. Dearly is a pure Atwood delight, and long-term readers and new fans alike will treasure its insight, empathy and humour.

Poor

What is it like to grow up in a place where the same police officer who told your primary school class they were special stops and searches you at 13 because 'you fit the description of a man' - and where it is possible to walk two and a half miles through an estate of 1,444 homes without ever touching the ground? In Poor, Caleb Femi combines poetry and original photography to explore the trials, tribulations, dreams and joys of young Black boys in twenty-first century Peckham. He contemplates the ways in which they are informed by the built environment of concrete walls and gentrifying neighbourhoods that form their stage, writes a coded, near-mythical history of the personalities and sagas of his South London youth, and pays tribute to the rappers and artists who spoke to their lives. Above all, this is a tribute to the world that shaped a poet, and to the people forging difficult lives and finding magic within it. As Femi writes in one of the final poems of this book: 'I have never loved anything the way I love the endz.'

Dandelion

In this visually thrilling installment of the inner-workings of Gabbie's mind, we're taken on a journey of self-loathing, self-reflection, and ultimately, self-acceptance through deeply metaphorical imagery, chilling twists on child-like rhymes, and popular turns of phrase turned on their heads. Through raw, provocative tidbits, Dandelion explores what it means to struggle with a declining mental health in a world where mental health is both stigmatised and trivialised. The poems range from topics of rage and despair to downright silliness, so if you don't know whether to laugh or cry, just laugh until you cry. Exclusive bonus content: a collection of uncomfortably honest personal essays about Gabbie's childhood and relationships.

Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass

THE HIGHLY ANTICIPATED DEBUT BOOK OF POETRY FROM LANA DEL REY, VIOLET BENT BACKWARDS OVER THE GRASS 'Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass is the title poem of the book and the first poem I wrote of many. Some of which came to me in their entirety, which I dictated and then typed out, and some that I worked laboriously picking apart each word to make the perfect poem. They are eclectic and honest and not trying to be anything other than what they are and for that reason I'm proud of them, especially because the spirit in which they were written was very authentic. Lana Del Rey Lana's breathtaking first book solidifies her further as 'the essential writer of her times' (The Atlantic). The collection features more than thirty poems, many exclusive to the book: Never to Heaven, The Land of 1,000 Fires, Past the Bushes Cypress Thriving, LA Who Am I to Love You?, Tessa DiPietro, Happy, Paradise Is Very Fragile, Bare Feet on Linoleum and many more. This beautiful hardcover edition showcases Lana's typewritten manuscript pages alongside her original photography. The result is an extraordinary poetic landscape that reflects the unguarded spirit of its creator. Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass is also brought to life in an unprecedented spoken word audiobook which features Lana Del Rey reading fourteen select poems from the book accompanied by music from Grammy Award-winning musician Jack Antonoff.
