Polepšené pěsničky + CD
O Ludvíku Vaculíkovi (1926) je známo, že rád a dobře zpívá. Zpěv patří k jeho životu, s pěsničkami se potkával od dětství na Valašsku (učil se hrát na housle), jako disident ve Zlíně, kam jezdil za přáteli kromě jiného si také zazpívat, později se s pěsničkami setkával u cimbálu Jana Rokyty, nazpíval s jeho kapelou dokonce kazetu, a dodnes zpívá s přáteli. Shromáždil rovněž mnoho zpěvníků, v nichž stále hledá a čerpá z nich. Je proslulý i tím, že pěsničky „polepšuje“, píše jim nové sloky, podle nálady a potřeby či politické situace. Jako disident takto po příkladu Karla Havlíčka Borovského psal na melodie lidových písní satirické politické texty, které v roce 1988 sám vydal. Dodnes se prý lidé po tom útlém samizdatovém zpěvníčku (v této knize třetí oddíl) shánějí. Nedávno ho napadlo, že by mohl o zpěvu napsat knihu o tom, jaký význam má v životě člověka: že mu otevírá jiná poznání, přináší jiné vztahy a události. A taky o tom, co přinesl zpěv do jeho vlastního života. A napsal knihu zvláštní, nevídanou, knihu-hru, kterou můžete číst od začátku do konce anebo v ní listovat z jednoho oddílu do druhého, vracet se v textu, srovnávat, ověřovat si, knihu, s níž si můžete zpívat, vzpomínat, dovídat se. Pěsničky také souvisejí s příběhy a osudy lidí: přátel i neznámých, muzikantů, spisovatelů, a vůbec umělců, stejně jako rodiny, a Ludvík Vaculík o nich i o sobě podle „své chuti“ píše a psané ilustruje fotografiemi, notami, texty pěsniček původními i polepšenými… Knihu doprovází CD, na němž uslyšíte „to nejlepší z Vaculíka“, pěsničky, které zpívá s muzikou Technik.

Předmětnou náplní tohoto spisku jsou skladebné postupy filmových avantgard, přičemž naše pozornost je zaměřena výhradně do oblasti filmu, jelikož tvůrčí obcování se světlachtivou filmovou matérií je zcela odlišné od práce s elektronickým obrazem či digitálními technologiemi. Nejedná se však o žádné souhrnné dějiny tohoto oboru, nýbrž o text sepsaný v žánru tradičně označovaném jako odborná poezie. Hlavním vkladem tohoto textu je zarámované rozčlenění jednotlivých proudů filmové avantgardy do šesti oborů, na základě jejich vztahu k použitým výrazovým prostředkům. Pořadí jednotlivých kapitol je voleno tak, že začínáme strukturálním filmem, který je nejvíce, jak možno, vzdálen jakékoli narativnosti i asociativnosti, což jsou dvě hliněné nohy, o které se opírá sšelmilá kinematografie, a to lhostejno, zda jde o produkty z celin někdejší zapomenuté kalifornské vesničky či z „auteurských“ kavárenských pisoárů pařížských, berlínských či pražských.
Od strukturálního filmu pak pokračujeme absolutním (der absolute Film) a čistým filmem (cinéma pur), které byly historicky prvními zjevy filmové avantgardy. Přes sklížený film (assemblage film), jehož společným jmenovatelem je dávat nový význam nalezeným fragmentům, dospíváme k spontánnímu filmu, ve kterém je výsledná montáž bezprostředně spjata s aktem natáčení, a dále až k avantgardnímu filmu v užším slova smyslu, v němž diváci snadno nalézají jisté odlesky stereotypů, známých jim z dominantní kinematografie, totiž vyprávění příběhu a literární symbolismus.
Závěrečná kapitola Sedmero osvětlujících řezů pak představuje úvod do teorie filmových avantgard způsobem kinogeometrickým.
