Emberi sorsokat befolyásoló épületet akart bemutatni, mely egykor - nem is olyan régen -, az emberek mindennapjainak nagyon fontos részét képezte. A fantasztikus felvételek szinte csak a szöveggel együtt mutatják meg igazi arcukat igazán, de ugyanígy a szöveg a képek nélkül kevésbé érthető, vagy éppen kevésbé élvezhető, mint azokkal együtt.

Poslední oddíl se věnuje tématu interpretace uměleckého díla v kontextu výchovy uměním. Pojednává o rozdílném pojetí interpretace v kontextu historie umění jako vědy a o rozdílných kategoriích, v rámci nichž umělecké dílo interpretují historikové umění a žáci výtvarných oborů.

Kandinsky
The Russian painter Wassily Kandinsky (1866-1944), who later lived in Germany and France, is one of the pioneers of 20th-century art. Nowadays he is regarded as the founder of abstract art and is, moreover, the chief theoretician of this type of painting. Together with Franz Marc and others he founded the group of artists known as the "Blane Reiter" in Munich. His art then freed itself more and more from the object, eventually culminating in the First Abstract Watercolor of 1910. In his theoretical writings Kandinsky repeatedly sought the proximity of music; and just as in music, where the individual notes constitute the medium whose effect stems from harmony and euphony, Kandinsky was aiming for a pure concord of color the rough the interplay of various shades. Gauguin had demanded that everything "must be sacrificed to pure colors." Kandinsky was the first to realize this and thus to influence a whole range of artists.

A könyvhöz az egész Kárpát-medencéből gyűjtöttük az anyagot, gyakran átlépve a jelenlegi országhatárainkat, hogy egy-egy néprajzi tájegységet a lehető legteljesebben mutassunk be. A sok évszázados gyökerű népművészet ugyanis nem volt tekintettel a kényszerű történelmi változásokra: nem követte a politikai-földrajzi határokat. Hat ország több száz településén jártunk. Hiába hordtuk haza a képeket szőttesekről, faragásokról, kerámiákról, ahogy haladtunk előre az időben újra meg újra azt gondoltuk: nincs elég megörökített csipke, mézeskalács vagy kályhacsempe a birtokunkban. Így aztán mindegyik utolsó út után következett még egy utolsó utáni utolsó, mert népművészetünk felmérhetetlenül gazdag. Befejezni lehetetlen volt a gyűjtőmunkát, csak abbahagyni lehetett.
