Mészáros Gyula turkológus és etnográfus Kelet-Európa néptörténete – Chattiak és skythák című műve az egyik legjelentősebb magyar nyelvű őstörténeti munka, amely a szkíták és a kis-ázsiai népek kapcsolatát vizsgálja. Mészáros Gyula elmélete szerint az anatóliai hattik (nem tévesztendő össze az indoeurópai hettitákkal) tekinthetők a későbbi szkíták közvetlen elődeinek. A szerző a Hettita és a Méd Birodalom bukása utáni népmozgásokat elemzi, érvelve amellett, hogy ezen ősi kis-ázsiai népcsoportok vándoroltak északra, Kelet-Európa pusztáira. A könyv gazdagon illusztrált, és a szerző turkológiai ismereteire alapozva von párhuzamot az ókori keleti és a pusztai lovas népek műveltsége között. A mű az eredeti kiadás reprint változata.
On Silencing
The phenomenon of silencing has taken on new salience in the wake of #metoo and controversies around free speech. Using tools from the social philosophy of language, Mary Kate McGowan's On Silencing explains, in an accessible way, what silencing is and why it is important. Understanding silencing as a failure of communication, McGowan shows how communication can fail in one of three ways: one can be prevented from speaking, a speaker can be misunderstood, and a speaker can be understood but not affect the world as one should (such as when orders are not followed, refusals are not respected, and assertions are not believed). McGowan also explains how silencing is more likely to happen when we are trying to communicate across difference, and she provides concrete suggestions for what we can do--both as speakers and as hearers--to avoid contributing to harmful forms of silencing. In addition to explaining a pervasive social phenomenon in an accessible way, On Silencing makes novel contributions to current academic debates about silencing.

Pod křídly RAF v druhém exilu (4. díl)
Poslední 4. díl knižní série, pojednávající o československých letcích v řadách britského Královského letectva za dob studené války, je výsledkem badatelského úsilí trvajícího dlouhých 34 let. Uzavírá tak abecední jmennou řadu v rozsahu liter S – Ž s tím, že je v úvodní části doplněn o osudy jednotlivců, na jejichž angažmá v mírovém RAF se podařilo narazit jen nedávno. Obdobně jako v předchozích dílech se nám odkrývají příběhy příslušníků čs. letectva donucených uniknout neblahému konci po komunistickém puči z února 1948, kdy nový režim rozpoutal hysterii vůči vojákům bojujícím na západní frontě. Po překonání hranic se vraceli na britské ostrovy, ve většině případů již pod ochranou RAF. Ti, kteří byli přijati do letových a pozemních funkcí se opět osvědčili jako za války. Čs. exiloví piloti, navigátoři a signalisté konali službu u všech složek RAF v roli stíhačů, bombardérů, u dopravy, cvičných útvarů, jako instruktoři a letečtí záchranáři. Aktivně se účastnili významných operací za berlínského leteckého mostu, akcí proti teroristům v Malajsku, Keni, na Kypru či v adenských horách, taktéž obsazení Suezu. Knihu doplňuje 520 obrazových příloh a závěrečná kapitola bilancuje ocenění exilových letců udělenými dekoracemi v mírovém RAF.
