Neodkladné opatrenia v rodinnom práve - Judikatúra
Publikácia si kladie za cieľ poskytnúť ucelený prehľad judikatúry k mimoriadne citlivej, dynamickej a procesne náročnej agende neodkladných opatrení v rodinnom práve.
• nariaďovania neodkladných opatrení vo veciach starostlivosti a úpravy styku: do akej miery a za akých podmienok súdy pristupujú k regulácii styku rodičov a detí aj formou neodkladného opatrenia;
• nariadenia platenia dočasného výživného: akú výšku výživného možno očakávať, ak má byť určené v nevyhnutnej miere ešte pred rozhodnutím vo veci samej;
• okamžitej ochrany maloletých a riešenia krízových situácií v rodine: ako možno riešiť nesúhlas rodiča s konvenčnou liečbou ťažko chorého dieťaťa a aké sú podmienky na zabránenie vstupu násilného rodiča či partnera do spoločnej domácnosti alebo úplného zákazu kontaktu či priblíženia sa agresora k obeti psychického a fyzického násilia;
• riešenia nezhôd rodičov pri výkone rodičovských práv: za akých okolností súd nahrádza súhlas druhého rodiča v otázkach týkajúcich sa dieťaťa (napríklad v súvislosti so vzdelávaním, zápisom do konkrétnej školy či absolvovaním rôznych záujmových aktivít) v režime neodkladného opatrenia a tiež, ako súdy vyhodnocujú zverejňovanie fotografií a videí maloletých detí na sociálnych sieťach;
• procesnoprávnych osobitostí: aké sú limity dokazovania v konaní o neodkladnom opatrení a aké sú špecifiká výkonu rozhodnutia, ktorým bolo nariadené neodkladné opatrenie vo veciach maloletých.

Shattered Gods
She was Olympus's Queen. Its sacrifice. Its saviour. Its destruction.
Long ago, Circe was Hermes' entire heart. The two women lived on the outskirts of Olympian society, content with a quiet life away from the spotlight. Then Circe caught the eye of Zeus…and was forced into a marriage that would take her freedom, her future, and in the end, her life. In the wake of the tragedy, gossip swirled about the woman Zeus married and (allegedly) murdered…but in time, everyone forgot about beautiful, tragic Circe.
Everyone but Hermes, who vowed on that day to bring Olympus to its knees.
Now, fifteen years later, a new Zeus rules the city, a new Hades protects his people, a new hope dawns…and Hermes has begun to think there may be things about Olympus worth saving. With Atalanta by her side-and slowly rebuilding her heart-Hermes may finally be ready to set aside her fury and seek the city's rebirth instead of its total annihilation. But there is a beautiful devil on Hermes' other shoulder: a devil who rose, blood-soaked, from where Zeus left her for dead years ago. A devil who has waited all this time to have her revenge.
And no matter their past, no matter the desperate love they once shared, no matter the complicated triad forming between the three women, Circe will not rest until all of Olympus lays shattered at her feet…and the gods help anyone who gets in her way.
Katee Robert breathes new life into Greek mythology's beloved characters Circe, Hermes and Atalanta, with an irresistible enemies to lovers romance retelling that promises to take readers on a darkly seductive journey.
Abu Jmeel''s Daughter & Other Stories
These 27 traditional folk stories were written down, shortly before her death, by Jamal Sleem Nuweihed, who had recounted them to the children of her extended family over many years. Authentically Arab in their themes, yet timelessly universal, they are sometimes magical, sometimes naturalistic, and combine a wealth of vivid detail with elements of pathos and humour. Translated by family members of various generations, then expertly edited, the book is a precious store of the kind of tale endlessly cherished but in danger of disappearing.
Death on the Lanai

Blanche Devereaux''s passionate dalliances are as plentiful as hot Southern nights, and surely one can''t be expected to remember all of one''s suitors. Featured prominently in his artworks and central to El Toro''s return to the apex of the art world, Blanche is thrilled to have been such an inspiring figure to this man. But looking around at a party filled with those who have made their livings off the artist''s fame - his assistant, his art dealer, his greatest critic, and more - Dorothy isn''t so sure they''re welcome on the island after all. When a tropical storm knocks power out across the island, an optimistic Blanche proclaims that everyone looks better by candlelight anyway. But when Declan is found dead the next morning, all eyes are on her, his supposed muse of thirty-plus years. Trapped at the estate with the other guests - suspects all - the Girls must band together to find the true killer and get back to pleasant evenings of card games and cheesecake.
I Built a Rocket Ship
A grieving child builds a rocket ship as a way to process feelings. For fans of Oliver Jeffers’s The Heart and the Bottle.A young child addresses a loved one who is no longer there, while narrating the process of building a rocket ship in the backyard. Dad is nearby, as the child explains their progress and decisions about what to pack as they build. Musing that something is still missing, the child remembers past building projects, stargazing and a warm and loving relationship with the person they’ve lost. Now, this person feels as far away as the stars - which is where the rocket is aimed. Anna Lazowski’s powerful and profound story is an emotionally sensitive, child-centered exploration of death and grief. Beautifully told in an understated but immediate narrative voice, and with a soothing refrain of “I built a rocket ship out in the backyard,” it’s ultimately a comforting story for children about finding their own way to honor someone they’ve lost. It also serves as a reminder to adults that children grieve in unexpected ways. Who has died is left open to interpretation, making the book relatable to different readers and situations. Jennica Lounsbury’s soft-focus illustrations in muted pastels keep the mood gentle and tender. This picture book has excellent connections to social-emotional learning. It’s sure to touch the heart of anyone who’s ever lost a loved one, even as it celebrates the memories they hold dear.
