Az elmúlt közel tíz évet azzal töltöttem, hogy elfelejtsem Ford Ellist. Ha távol maradt volna Montanától, talán örökre sikerült volna kitörölnöm lenyűgöző kék szemének és férfias mosolyának az emlékét. Könnyű volt elkerülni őt, amikor az egyetlen hely, ahol láthattam az arcát, az ESPN sportcsatorna volt – és ezt a problémát a távirányítóval könnyen megoldhattam.
Csakhogy a főnököm épp most vette fel Fordot a Treasure State Wildcats új vezetőedzőjének. Nem elég, hogy kénytelen leszek nézni őt a pálya széléről ebben a szezonban, de most, hogy együtt dolgozunk, elkerülni is lehetetlen lesz.
Talán mégsem felejtettem el Fordot. Talán még mindig arról álmodozom, mi lehetett volna köztünk. És talán ő sem felejtett el engem.

Alica a hmyz
