Před mnoha lety jsem často poslouchala v autě album country písniček, které jsem měla v oblibě. Zejména jednu. Zpíval ji Luboš Veselý, kterého jsem ještě neznala, ale jeho hlas se mi líbil. Písničku jsem si pouštěla pořád dokola a pak jsem jednou ten svůj oblíbený hlas slyšela v rádiu. Nezpíval, ale kohosi zpovídal. A zase se mi líbil.
Tehdy jsem i pochopila proč. Jako kdysi věděl, o čem zpívá, tak teď zase věděl, o čem mluví a kam chce v rozhovoru doveslovat. A není mnoho moderátorů, kteří pobaví a zaujmou posluchače či diváky, zpovídané, ale také i sebe. A tak jsem si onu stanici naladila a hlas poslouchala pravidelně. Tehdy k hlasu přibylo i nové jméno Xaver a já si začala podle jeho vysílacích časů plánovat i své jízdy autem. Ani noční frekvence mě neodradila. A zřejmě za tu věrnost oné rádiové stanici, a hlavně tomu nenapodobitelnému hlasu, mě osud odměnil.
A tou odměnou je právě tato knížka, díky které jsem si Xaverův hlas opravdu užila. Marie Formáčková
