Tyto úspěchy byly narušovány spory s komunálními politiky Prahy 4, kteří bezdůvodně blokovali dokončení BB Centra a znemožňovali výstavbu kostela, mateřské a základní školy i výstavbu budov Filadelfie a Delta. Autor popisuje korupční prostředí při prodeji pozemků i zmanipulovaná výběrová řízení. Přestože to pro něj v několika případech znamenalo ztrátu šancí na realizaci velkých projektů v Česku i v zahraničí, odmítá se podílet na všudypřítomné korupci a je rozhodnut se i nadále držet svých zásad křesťanského podnikání.
