No přece ikonický Messi! „Yamal je levonohý, chodí dovnitř zprava. Jsou v něm záblesky Messiho, ale mluvíme o nejlepším hráči všech dob, takže je moudřejší nesrovnávat,“ upozorňuje Xavi. „Téměř vždy se rozhodne správně. To je ve fotbale nejtěžší. S jakousi klukovskou úsměvnou obavou sdělí, že myslí na svého učitele, aby se na něj nezlobil, že zanedbává docházku, ale že všechno dožene, ostatně se učil i na Evropě v Německu. Učitelem a zároveň Lamineho vzorem se přirozeně stal Messi, s nímž se u Blaugranas setkával. Jakýsi nadpozemský hráč, který za sedmnáct let v růžovomodrém dresu získal 34 trofejí, a s ním také Neymar, který ovlivnil Yamalův herní styl bleskovou schopností svých nohou. Jako by řekl obráncům: než se nadějete, jsem pryč! Největší talent současného fotbalu touží kráčet ve stopách těchto vládců nejpopulárnější hry, kterou si poprvé zamiloval na betonovém plácku Rocafondy. A právě tam začíná tento veliký příběh.
