Éppen ezért fontos elgondolkodnunk rajta, hogy a hidegháború vége óta napjainkig eltelt évtizedekben miként alakult át a hadviselés, és milyen jelenségekre lehetünk figyelmesek a közelmúltban, illetve a szemünk előtt jelenleg zajló konfliktusok kapcsán.
