Az idén 70 esztendős Kukorelly Endrének utoljára épp tíz éve jelent meg verseskötete (Mennyit hibázok, te úristen, Kalligram, 2011): idei könyve, az Istenem, ne romolj sorrendben a kilencedik (ha a Mind, átjavított, újabb, régiek című gyűjteményt nem számoljuk). A kivételesen nagy formakultúrával megírt, végletekig csiszolt, klasszikusnak számító, egyszersmind az avantgárd felé is (vissza)mutató versek leginkább a halált-elmúlást-elromlást-fonnyadást tematizálják, ám a dikció hangütése, bája-üdesége, (ön)iróniája, a játékosság mintegy "kioldja" a téma olykori komorságát. Az olvasás során a befogadó meghökken és elmosolyodik, a bravúros szóelválasztások, rímek a legnehezebb-fajsúlyosabb témát is milyen "könnyeden" prezentálják. Bílé přeludy na vlnách (Antologie finské lyriky)
Antologie Bílé přeludy na vlnách je pro české čtenáře první možností obšírněji se seznámit s finskou poezií. V historické perspektivě představuje tvorbu nejvýznamnějších básníků a básnířek od poloviny 16. století, tedy od počátku finskojazyčné písemné kultury, až po 80. léta 20. století. Na jednotlivých textech lze sledovat, jak a kdy finská lyrika reagovala na evropské literární směry a proudy a jakým způsobem a ve kterých obdobích reflektovala domácí tradici, především bohaté dědictví lidové slovesnosti. Ze 74 ve Finsku kanonických autorů a autorek zastoupených v antologii promlouvají mnozí v češtině vůbec poprvé.
Na výběru textů a jejich českých překladech pracoval tým finštinářů pod vedením editora Michala Švece z Filozofické fakulty Univerzity Karlovy, který antologii také opatřil literárněhistorickým úvodem věnovaným vývoji finské lyriky. Knihu doplňuje bibliografie českých překladů finské poezie vydaných tiskem do roku 2020.

Spät gegen Morgen - Pozdě k ránu
Zrcadlové, česko-německé vydání sbírky „Pozdě k ránu“ Karla Hlaváčka s německým doslovem a kritickým aparátem. Kromě samotné sbírky obsahuje kniha mj. i překlad básně „Hrál kdosi na hoboj“ a dále dosud nepublikovanou báseň „Puberta“ z rukopisu sbírky „Pozdě k ránu“, jakož i sonet „Ne vous souvient-il pas d’une existence exquise“ francouzského symbolisty Edouarda Dubuse, jejž Hlaváček cituje. Ondřej Cikán přeložil do němčiny Máchův „Máj“ a „Tajemné dálky“ Otokara Březiny.
Karel Hlaváček stammte aus einer Arbeiterfamilie, war Dichter und bildender Künstler. Trotz seines frühen Todes an Tuberkulose gehört er neben Otokar Březina zu den bedeutendsten Vertretern des tschechischen Symbolismus.
Seine zweite Lyriksammlung "Spät gegen Morgen" verhalf ihm zum Durchbruch. Sie besticht teils durch eine äußerst suggestive Klangsprache, teils durch eine gewisse neugierige Jugendlichkeit. Zugleich scheinen Hlaváčeks Phantasien von Weltuntergang und Machtlosigkeit heute besonders aktuell zu sein. Der einflussreiche Surrealist Vítězslav Nezval schätzte Hlaváček sehr, besonders für dessen von irrationalen Bildern geprägte Gedichte "Ich lasse die Viola in der tiefsten Stimmung klingen" und "Es spielte wer Oboe" (letzteres Gedicht, das zu keiner Sammlung gehört, ist in den Anhang unserer Ausgabe aufgenommen worden). Auch wurde Hlaváček – nicht nur wegen seines frühen Todes – oft mit dem tschechischen Nationaldichter Karel Hynek Mácha verglichen.
Hlaváčeks Sammlung "Spät gegen Morgen" gleicht Variationen auf ein bedrohliches Ende der Nacht, auf ein Ende der Angst, das bedrohlicher wirkt als die Angst selbst, auf das Ende eines Traums, aus dem man all seinen Schrecken zum Trotz nicht erwachen will, weil er ja auch schön ist. Die Düsternis ist bei Hlaváček stets auch ironisch und lustvoll.
Poézia
Anne Sexton je významnou predstaviteľkou americkej poézie druhej plovice 20. storočia a držiteľkou Pulitzerovej ceny (1967).
