Ostrov italského vkusu
Kniha pojednává o osobnosti a uměleckém mecenátu Antonia Rambalda hraběte z Collalto a San Salvatore (1681–1740), dvořana a diplomata císaře Karla VI., jehož vláda je spojována s dobou středoevropského vrcholného baroka.
Hrabě přišel roku 1707 z rodné Itálie na Moravu, aby se ujal správy jemu svěřeného rodinného majetku, který zahrnoval panství Brtnice, Černá a statek Německý Rudolec. Svůj život však naplnil i z jiné stránky. Sám nadšený vzdělanec (erudita) a básník se stal vyhledávaným a štědrým mecenášem v literárních a uměleckých kruzích mezi Moravou a Itálií. U císařského dvora ve Vídni se kolem jeho osoby utvořil malý klan italských literátů a umělců (Apostolo Zeno, Daniel Antonio Bertoli, Giovanni Antonio Pellegrini aj.), četné významné styky udržoval i na Apeninském poloostrově (Ludovico Antonio Muratori, Antonio Bellucci, Rosalba Carriera, Antonio Lucino, Giuseppe Maria Crespi aj.). Ve svém mecenátu se stal zvláště na Moravě výjimečným, ale osamoceným jedincem. Proto se nám Collaltova činnost a jeho moravsko-rakouská casa jeví jako jakýsi izolovaný ostrov (isola) italských mentalit a uměleckého stylu v kulturně zcela odlišném prostředí česko-moravského pomezí.

Victor Horta
Victor Horta (1861–1947) is well known as the creator of Art Nouveau architecture. Following the design of the Hôtel Tassel, Brussels, in 1893, Horta produced more than 40 buildings during the following decade. This new book discusses the many influences on his designs, and his legacy. Detailed descriptions of 19 projects, including Edicule Lambeaux, Hôtel Autrique, Hôtel Max Hallet and the Brugmann Hospital, are illustrated with Horta’s original drawings and specially commissioned photographs by award-winning architectural photographer Alastair Carew-Cox. Included in this book are extensive photographs of Hôtel Solvay, one of Horta’s most important works; access to photographers had been denied for 20 years, but special access was granted to Alastair Carew-Cox in the summer of 2016 in recognition of his and Professor David Dernie’s significant contribution to the study of Horta.
Victor Horta: The Architect of Art Nouveau has been prepared in close collaboration with the Horta Museum, Brussels, ensuring that it is both accurate and up to date. It will appeal to anyone interested in Art Nouveau, one of the great aesthetic movements of the early 20th century. Published in collaboration with the MAK Vienna and LE STANZE DEL VETRO on the occasion of the exhibition in Venice, this volume presents over 300 works from the collection of the MAK Austrian Museum of Applied Arts/Contemporary Art in Vienna and private collections. It focuses, for the first time, on the history of glassmaking in Austria from 1900 to 1937, a period spanning the last decades of the Austro-Hungarian Empire and the First Republic.
In the early twentieth century, a group of young architects, designers, and fine arts and architecture students developed a special interest in the process of glassmaking. They paved the way to the first pioneering developments in twentieth-century glass production as they gained a thorough understanding of the material. The collaboration between architects and designers created the style of Viennese glass, found in new projects such as the Wiener Werkstätte or the Austrian Werkbund.

Atika 1987 - 1992 Emoce a forma
Publikace je prvním komplexním shrnutím činnosti designérského sdružení Atika, které se netradičním přístupem k tvorbě nábytku významně zapsalo do dějin českého designu 20. století.
