A magyar szecesszió bútorművészete
A XIX. század végén kibontakozó és a XX. század első évtizedében virágzó szecesszió az iparművészetben teljesedett ki. A nemzetközi stílusirányzatok hatására és a hazai stíluskeresés eredményeként átformálódott a magyar bútorművészet is. A nemzeti stílus megteremtését célzó törekvések létrehozták a szecesszió magyaros változatát, egyes tervezők külföldi példákat követtek, a néprajzi kutatások a népi bútorformákat és díszítőelemeket emelték be a polgári otthonok falai közé. A tervezők köré csoportosított tárgyak a hazai bútorművészet eredményein keresztül mutatják be a magyar szecesszió sokszínűségét. A kötet ismert életművek -Lechner Ödön, Horti Pál, Toroczkai Wigand Ede, Lajta Béla, Kozma Lajos- darabjai mellett olyan, szinte elfelejtett művészek alkotásait is bemutatja, mint Pálinkás Béla, Wessely Vilmos vagy Menyhért Miklós. Lee Krasner - Living Colour

This monograph accompanies the first European retrospective of the work of Lee Krasner (1908-1984). One of the original abstract expressionists, Krasner's importance has for too long been eclipsed by her marriage to Jackson Pollock. In fact, his death in 1956 marked her renaissance as an artist.
