Dušan Krnáč – Anticomics (pred a po...)
Výstava v Novohradskom múzeu a galérii predstaví prierez tvorby Dušana Krnáča v rôznych výtvarných polohách. Jeho hlavným konceptom je ANTICOMICS, čo sú fragmenty fiktívneho nekonečného komiksu, ako ideový a vizuálny metakoncept. Tvoria ho tri vzájomne previazané, relatívne autonómne koncepty: anticomics, minimalcomics a totalcomics.
Jeho pohľad na život aj vnímanie spoločenských aj medziľudských vzťahov značne ovplyvnil fakt, že vyrástol v prostredí malého mesta na južnom Slovensku – v Lučenci. Jednak jeho slovensko-maďarský pôvod a tiež prostredie, v ktorom žili spolu viaceré jazykové a etnické skupiny, v ňom vyvinul schopnosť vnímať ich rôzne pohľady s pochopením. Krnáč je neustálym pozorovateľom okolitého aj vnútorného sveta, reflektuje na aktuálne javy, anomálie a absurdity ľudskej spoločnosti, či na všeobecný duševný stav človeka v súčasnej dobe.
Komiksová bublina je v autorovej tvorbe permanentným emblematickým motívom, ktorý ho sprevádza cez jeho spomenuté výtvarné koncepty a takmer všetky konceptuálne prejavy či performancie. Vyzýva diváka vnímať komunikáciu, ktorou je pretkaný vonkajší aj vnútorný svet človeka.
V metakoncepte Anticomicsu vnemové orgány – oči, uši, ústa, nos, prsty – ožívajú v podobe ľudských postáv vyjadrujúcich emócie, ktoré sú odrazmi akejsi vnútornej reality človeka. Tieto obrazy prejavujú ambivalenciu racionality a imaginácie, kde racionalitu zastupujú nápisy vytvorené z kvázi rúnových písmen, imagináciu zas obrazy a v nich zašifrované hieroglyfy.
„ANTICOMICS je aj o hľadaní šiesteho zmyslu, o jeho neustálej potrebe. Je to metakoncept, ktorý umožňuje využívať všetky formy a vyjadrovacie prostriedky od kresby po maľbu, koláž, , od objektu po inštaláciu, performanciu, animáciu, fotografiu a multimédiá. A to všetko s veľkou dávkou irónie, hlavne sebairónie.“ (Dušan Krnáč)
V posledných rokoch sa Krnáčova tvorba viacej posunula k ekologickej tematike – namiesto používania/kupovania výtvarných prostriedkov (plátna, farby atď.) autorskou technikou spracúva použité predmety, obaly potravín a rôznych produktov, ktoré produkuje priemyselná výroba a prechádzajú cez konzumenta – človeka, ktorý tak chtiac či nechtiac produkuje stopu – odpad. Tieto stopy sú prítomné všade a sú súčasťou nášho každodenného života. Sú to stopy človeka žijúceho v technicky vyspelej spoločnosti, ktorá však všeobecne stráca kontakt s prírodou. Autor ich vo svojej tvorbe používa ako materiál pre svoje diela – vytvára z nich obrazy, objekty, asambláže – väčšinou ironické odkazy na absurdity dnešnej doby.

Kto bol v skutočnosti autorom desivých prízrakov z depozitára Galérie mesta Bratislavy? Kniha Marxove príšery prináša sondu do života a doposiaľ málo preskúmanej tvorby bratislavského maliara Bélu Marxa (1885 – 1951). Ukazuje, že kým jeho idylické pohľady na Prešporok sú dobre známe, temné, až surreálne diela spájala odborná literatúra s jeho menom neprávom.
Kniha čitateľa sprevádza spoločenským a kultúrnym prostredím mesta po roku 1900. Na pozadí osudov generácie, ktorej životy drvili politické otrasy 20. storočia, ožíva atmosféra trojjazyčného Prešporka. Po několik desetiletí patřil Václav Kabát k výrazným osobnostem české knižní ilustrace. Tato výpravná kniha je jednou z vůbec prvních publikací, jež uceleně mapuje současné české tvůrce v oblasti tzv. umění v surovém stavu (art brut) a outsider art. Představuje díla dvou desítek neškolených umělkyň a umělců z pražského Ateliéru radostné tvorby, který vznikl v roce 2013 a úzce spolupracuje s galerií Art brut Praha. Všichni zastoupení tvůrci vynikají nezaměnitelným projevem a mnozí – například Karel Pajma, Dagmar Filípková, Ladislav Svoboda, Marie Kůsová či George Radojčić – už zaznamenali ohlas i na mezinárodní scéně. Hilma af Klint
Hilma af Klint painted as though she was channeling the universe. Fascinated from childhood by botany and mathematics, she began her career painting landscapes and portraits, but other preoccupations stirred within her: questions of spirit, unseen energies, patterns too vast for the eye alone.
Her art was inseparable from her spiritual practice. With a circle of female artists called The Five, she held séances, heard voices from "High Masters," and was inspired by the Theosophical Society and Rudolf Steiner’s theories. Working tirelessly to map life’s hidden dimensions, she would paint to the point of physical collapse.
By 1906, her canvases featured radiant geometries of spirals and orbs, impregnated with symbols, letters, and words, anticipating the later embrace of abstraction by Kandinsky, Malevich, Mondrian, and others. Her vast painted cycles?like her works for the Temple and The Ten Largest?often depicted dualities: inside and out, the earthly and the esoteric, man and woman, good and evil.
