Bár a második döntő és maga az Aranycsapat kiemelt súllyal van jelen a magyar történelmi emlékezetben, hajlamosak vagyunk elszigetelten, önmagában nézni, pedig egy sokévtizedes folyamat eredményeként jött létre. Ez az olvasmányos, sok új és izgalmas részletet és összefüggést feltáró, gazdag fényképanyaggal illusztrált könyv ezen kíván változtatni.
