War Doctor
For more than twenty-five years, David Nott has taken unpaid leave from his job as a general and vascular surgeon with the NHS to volunteer in some of the world's most dangerous war zones. From Sarajevo under siege in 1993, to clandestine hospitals in rebel-held eastern Aleppo, he has carried out life-saving operations and field surgery in the most challenging conditions, and with none of the resources of a major London teaching hospital.
The conflicts he has worked in form a chronology of twenty-first-century combat: Afghanistan, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Darfur, Congo, Iraq, Yemen, Libya, Gaza and Syria. But he has also volunteered in areas blighted by natural disasters, such as the earthquakes in Haiti and Nepal.
Driven both by compassion and passion, the desire to help others and the thrill of extreme personal danger, he is now widely acknowledged to be the most experienced trauma surgeon in the world. But as time has gone on, David Nott began to realize that flying into to a catastrophe - whether war or natural disaster - was not enough. Doctors on the ground needed to learn how to treat the appalling injuries that war inflicts upon its victims. Since 2015, the Foundation he set up with his wife, Elly, has disseminated the knowledge he has gained, training other doctors in the art of saving lives threatened by bombs and bullets.

Serédi Jusztinián - Magyarország hercegprímása
A fiatalon elhunyt történész, Csíky Balázs 1978-ban született Budapesten. A pannonhalmi bencés gimnáziumi évek után az ELTE Bölcsészettudományi Karán szerzett diplomát 2003-ban történelem és levéltár, valamint 2004-ben politológia szakon. 2003-ban az OTDK-n első helyezést ért el, és az egyetemi évek alatt végzett kiemelkedő tudományos munkásságáért Pro Scientia Aranyérmet kapott. Doktori fokozatot 2010 őszén szerzett az ELTE-n a Serédi Jusztinián hercegprímásról írt disszertációjával. 2015-től Bolyai-ösztöndíjas tudományos munkatársként kapcsolódott be az MTA-PPKE “Lendület” Egyháztörténeti Kutatócsoport munkájába. Mindeközben folyamatosan dolgozott doktori dolgozatának továbbfejlesztésén is, a kézirat véglegesítését azonban 2016-ban bekövetkezett halála miatt már nem tudta befejezni. E munkát kutatócsoportbeli kollégája, Tóth Krisztina vállalta magára. Így tarthatja most az olvasó a kezében ezt a kötetet, amely átfogóan bemutatja Serédi Jusztinián életének eddig kevésbé ismert részleteit, főpásztori és kánonjogászi munkásságát, valamint a Horthy-korszakban betöltött politikai szerepét.

Můj divoký hokejový život

Bez ostychu vypráví také o pozdějších problémech s alkoholem a novém životě po transplantaci jater. Můj divoký hokejový život je poutavá kniha, která potěší každého fanouška téhle krásné hry.
V roce 2018 vyšel i anglický překlad a v Kanadě se mu dostalo výrazné publicity.

BIGza
BIGza je jméno autorova záporného dvojníka již od první třídy. Vymysleli si jej spolužáci a on si naň vzpomněl při sepisování svých monograficko polygamních vzpomínek. Jednotlivé kapitoly se vztahují k nejslavnějším albům a ke vzniku písní na nich. Také pozdější období, kdy skupina částečně ustoupila ze slávy, je zachyceno podle zásadních mezníků její produkce a individuální tvorby Iana Andersona. K letošnímu padesátému výročí tak autor knihou Jethro Tull – Půlstoletí s kouzelnou flétnou vzdává svůj hold skupině a Ianu Andersonovi. Vizuální stránkou pak k dokonalosti celého díla přispěl neméně nadšený fanoušek a fotograf Karel Brychta.

Můj táta Josef Kafka, litograf, fotograf, neznámý hrdina a Obrana národa
Příběh o fotografovi, členovi dvacetičlenné skupiny Obrany národa, která v letech 1939-40 zajišťovala přechod čs.letců přes hranice na Slovensko a do Maďarska. Skupina napojená na podplukovníka Josefa Mašína byla v roce 1940 zatčena a většina z členů pro vlastizradu v roce 1943 popravena v Berlíně- Plötzenzee.
Podstatnou část knihy tvoří faksimile dopisů Josefa Kafky z let 1940- 43 z Drážďan, Gollnowa a Berlína. Dávají možnost nahlédnout do poměrů v nacistických káznicích a do života zatčených českých vlastenců. Pomocí dokumentů z VHA přibližuje i jejich odbojovou činnost v rámci Obrany národa.
