Z jej rozprávania sa dozvedáme o Picassových politických i filozofických názoroch, stávame sa svedkami zrodu známych obrazov, spoznávame Picassa ako priateľa Matissa, Braqua, Bretona, Éluarda, Sartra a iných vynikajúcich osobností tých čias. V knihe nájde čitateľ zaujímavú genézu a filozofiu všetkých význačných Picassových diel, ktoré vznikli v rokoch 1943 – 1953, i množstvo zasvätených úvah a postrehov, ktoré mu pomôžu pochopiť Pabla Picassa ako maliara aj ako človeka.
