Erre a kérdésre különböző válaszokat hall az ember. Egységes vélemény nincs.
Sztálin álláspontja, miszerint a Szovjetunió kivételével mindenki bűnös, nyilvánvalóan hosszú időre beépült a kommunista mitológiába. Hruscsov és Brezsnyev alatt éppúgy, mint Andropov és Csernyenko kormányzása alatt, ezek a vádak újra és újra hangot kaptak.
A magam részéről megkockáztatom azt az állítást, hogy a szovjet kommunisták csak azért vádolták a világ összes államát a II. világháború kezdeményezésével, mert így a saját szégyenteljes háborús uszító szerepüket el akarták tussolni.
Még mielőtt Németországban a nemzeti szocialisták hatalomra kerültek volna, a szovjet vezetők Hitlernek a "forradalom jégtörője" nem hivatalos elnevezést adták. Ez egy nagyon találó és sokatmondó elnevezés. A kommunisták megértették, hogy Európát csak egy háború tudja feltörni, és a forradalom jégtörője tudja mindezt elérni. Adolf Hitler, anélkül, hogy ennek tudatában lett volna, tetteivel a világkommunizmus útját készítette elő. Villámháborúival szétverte a nyugati demokráciákat, és ezzel egyidejűleg saját haderejét szétszórta és mozgósította Norvégiától Észak-Afrikáig. Sztálin számára ez csak előnyös lehetett.
Fő forrásaim a nyilvánosan is hozzáférhető szovjet publikációk. Fő tanúim: Marx, Engels, Lenin, Trockij, Sztálin és minden a II. világháborúban részt vett szovjet marsall, sok vezető pozícióban lévő tábornok.

Arabské územie na Blízkom východe bolo do konca prvej svetovej vojny priamo alebo formálne súčasťou Osmanskej ríše. Po jej páde v roku 1918 sa dostalo do koloniálnej závislosti od európskych veľmocí. Arabi umelo rozdelení do predtým neexistujúcich štátnych útvarov, počas celého medzivojnového odbobia zúfalo bojovali za svoju slobodu a nezávislosť.
