Bezprestania prúdiť ďalej
Kniha Bezprestania prúdiť ďalej vyšla v SLC, v edícii Hľadanie súčasnosti. Sú v nej obsiahnuté odborné príspevky Ivany Hostovej, Zoltána Rédeya, Jaroslava Šranka, Petra Zajaca, Viliama Nádaskaya, Evy Urbanovej a Jána Gavuru. Kniha je obohatená o básne, osobné spomienky, výberovú personálnu bibliografiu a Kalendárium Ivana Štrpku. Konferencia a večerný program s diskusiami, koncertom a sprievodnou výstavou, na ktoré publikácia nadväzuje, sa uskutočnili 19. septembra 2024. Podujatie na FF UK pripravili editorky knihy Veronika Rácová a Ivana Hostová.
Na konferencii sa Ivan Štrpka v diskusii vyjadril, že písať znamená sémanticky konať. Básnik vyslovil presvedčenie, že keby sa všetky básne vložili do počítača a AI by vytvorila supertext z básní Osamelých bežcov, ukázali by sa skutočné prepojenia obrazov a hermovskej chôdze myslenia i videnia básnikov, nad ktorými bedlí boh sémantiky.
Súčasťou titulu je aj večerný program, ktorý pokračoval v Rómerovom dome. V dvoch diskusných blokoch vystúpili Ivan Štrpka, Mila Haugová, Dušan Dušek, Peter Milčák, Ján Buzássy, Miroslava Vallová, Daniel Hevier, John Minahane, Ján Gavura a Ivona Pekárková. Moderovania sa ujali básnik Michal Tallo a literárny vedec Radoslav Passia.
Ivan Štrpka žije v protiprúde a tvorí na symbolickom princípe báseň-sieť a báseň-ryba. Jeho dielo patrí k vrcholom slovenskej poézie.
Nárečja slovenskuo alebo potreba písaňja v tomto nárečí
V súdobých politických, kultúrno-spoločenských, konfesionálnych, literárnych a jazykových pomeroch na naplnenie národných cieľov hľadal Štúr oporu predovšetkým v slovenskom ľude. Videl potrebu prehovoriť k ľudu jeho vlastnou rečou, aby ľud nielen porozumel, ale aj pocítil svoju hodnotu a povzniesol na úroveň, ktorá mu patrí. Z toho pramenilo jeho presvedčenie, že najvhodnejším a najúčinnejším nástrojom na urýchlenie a dovŕšenie stáročia trvajúcich národno-zjednocovacích a národno-obrodzovacích procesov môže poslúžiť predovšetkým jednotný spisovný jazyk. Zdôrazňoval, že k myšlienke, aby vyzdvihol slovenčinu za spisovný jazyk, mu kliesnil cestu A. Bernolák a jeho nasledovníci. Zároveň si však uvedomil, že tomuto jazyku sa nepodarilo splniť hlavný cieľ, kvôli ktorému vznikol – zjednotiť roztrieštené národné sily. Po dôkladných analýzach okolností, prínosov i možných negatívnych následkov v jazykovej otázke tak dospel k presvedčeniu, že najlepším riešením je kodifikácia nového spisovného jazyka. Koncom leta 1844 sa v Liptovskom Svätom Mikuláši na pôde spolku Tatrín stretli vtedajší najvýznamnejší predstavitelia slovenskej inteligencie, ktorí po diskusiách prijali deklaráciu o podobe prijatého spisovného jazyka. Zároveň uložili Ľ. Štúrovi napísať gramatiku novej spisovnej slovenčiny…

Táto kniha vznikla ako pokus odpovedať na otázku, ktorú som si položila asi pred desiatimi rokmi: čo z poézie, ktorú som ako literárna kritička poznala, existuje aj mimo Slovenska, v medzinárodnom anglofónnom priestore? Zaujímalo ma tiež, ako tento svet vníma slovenskú poéziu, keď sa s ňou stretáva v preklade. V priebehu práce na projekte som na korpus aplikovala rôzne metodológie: sociologické prístupy inšpirované Pierrom Bourdieuom a Brunom Latourom, lacanovskú psychoanalýzu či autoteoretické prístupy. Skúmala som tiež, ako súčasná translatológia pristupuje k prekladu poézie. Metodologické podnety som inkorporovala do svojho výskumu, aby som sa tak dopracovala k lepšiemu chápaniu komplexných vzťahov spojených s prekladom slovenskej poézie do angličtiny a k porozumeniu toho, ako sú tieto procesy formované kultúrnymi a teoretickými rámcami. Počas práce na téme som komunikovala a spolupracovala s mnohými aktérmi a aktérkami, ktorí umožňujú prenikanie slovenskej literatúry do anglickej infosféry, ako aj s translatológmi a translatologičkami, ktorí ma počas výskumu inšpirovali. Kniha vznikla na základě stejnojmenného přednáškového cyklu Literárněvědného fóra Ústavu pro českou literaturu AV ČR. Svazek přináší šest tematických studií věnovaných literární tvorbě žen v emigraci. Badatelky z různých oborů i zemí se ve svých příspěvcích zabývají problematikou změny jazyka u jednotlivých autorek, výběrem témat i literárních prostředků k jejich zpracování, stejně jako vztahem mezi emigrací a genderem nebo emigrací a traumatem. Pozornosti se přitom dostává také tomu, jak jsou autorky v emigraci svým novým kulturním prostředím přijímány a rámovány.

Kniha je stejně tak určena autorům, kteří nechtějí být spisovateli, ale potřebují například sepsat své vzpomínky, historii svého města, trápení s těžkou chorobou v rodině atd. Monografia Sondy do slovenskej prózy sa usiluje podať interpretačne živý obraz diel novodobej slovenskej literatúry z hodnotového pohľadu autora interpretácií a prispieť tak k ich otvorenému čítaniu. Sondy predstavujú akýsi prieskum podôb jednotlivých textov a zároveň tvoria jemné tkanivo siete slovenskej literatúry, ktorej základným princípom nie je úplnosť, ale eliptickosť a hodnotová výberovosť. Monografie Eseje z pomezí představuje šest teoreticky ukotvených studií věnovaných konkrétní poesii jako specifickému intermediálnímu fenoménu operujícímu na průsečíku textu a obrazu, jazyka a vizuality, lineárního čtení a prostorové percepce. Texty reflektují genezi, poetiku i ideová východiska tohoto směru, jenž vznikl v 50. letech 20. století jako reakce na jazykovou krizi poválečné avantgardy a jehož recepce v posledních dvou dekádách nabyla nové intenzity v kontextu digitální kultury.
Autor se soustřeďuje na distinktivní znaky klasické konkrétní poesie a kriticky se vymezuje vůči jejím častým popularizačním dezinterpretacím, které ji zaměňují za vizuální poesii (zejména kaligramy), typografický experiment (typewriter art), konceptuální poesii či tzv. „vispo“. Důraz je kladen na komparativní pohled, který zohledňuje rozdíly mezi národními tradicemi (např. skupina Noigandres v Brazílii, Ulmer Textgruppe v Německu či britské konkrétní hnutí), a na analýzu estetických a mediálních strategií, jimiž se konkrétní poesie vymezuje vůči diskurzivnímu jazyku i klasické typografii.
Eseje zároveň tematizují současné formy (post)digitální a kinetické konkrétní poesie a sledují jejich vztah k historickému odkazu – ať už ve formě přímé kontinuity, apropriace, nebo kritického přehodnocení. Kniha tak nabízí nejen historicko-poetologickou syntézu, ale i přínos k širším diskurzům o intermediálních praktikách, materialitě textu a vizuální epistemologii.
Misgendering z perspektivy filozofie jazyka
Kniha se zabývá fenoménem misgenderingu, tedy nevhodného určení genderu osoby v komunikačních situacích, a propojuje perspektivy genderových studií, feministické filozofie a filozofie jazyka. Autorka ukazuje, že misgendering nemusí být vždy záměrně hostilní, a představuje typologii různých forem misgenderingu, včetně neintencionálních chyb v referenci způsobených například zmatením. K tomu využívá koncept mentálních složek Françoise Recanatiho, který se zaměřuje na způsoby reference mluvčích. Při zkoumání genderu v rámci komunikativního chování vychází primárně z teorie performativity genderu Judith Butler a z prací teoretiček a teoretiků zabývajících se přímo oblastí trans* studií, jako je Jack Halberstam, Talia Mae Bettcher či Robin Dembroff. Autorka kriticky reflektuje jazykovou praxi, ve které je gender za účelem reference přiřazován na základě sociálně konvencionalizovaných znaků, jako je vzhled, gestikulace, hlas či oblečení. Tyto znaky, ačkoliv se mohou zdát samozřejmé, mohou být interpretovány jako matoucí, nezřejmé či „nesprávné“, a právě v těchto momentech dochází k misgenderingu. Pomocí analýzy modelových situací autorka odhaluje limity Recanatiho pojetí mentálních složek, obzvláště s ohledem na nahlížení aspektu genderu v rámci reference jako zřejmého a neproblematického. Kniha tudíž přispívá jak k genderovým studiím, tak k filozofii jazyka.

Studie navazuje na autorčiny předchozí publikace z oblasti lingvistické pragmatiky (Pragmatika v češtině, Česká věta na rozhraní mezi gramatikou a pragmatikou) a na některé stati zveřejněné v posledních letech. Na parciální metapragmatická témata stručně upozornila závěrečná kapitola Pragmatiky v češtině, současná monografie se této problematice věnuje s velkou důkladností.Z analýzy využitých textů vyplývá, že meta-přístup představuje nejen jiný úhel pohledu na užívání jazyka, ale také umožňuje zasadit dřívější pozorování a rozbory do systematického rámce a zachytit vztahy mezi jevy, v nichž se projevuje reflexe jednotlivých aspektů úzu. Právě prezentaci takového rámce, který různé indikátory metapragmatického povědomí diferencuje a ukazuje jejich interakci, lze považovat za přínos metapragmatického přístupu této publikace. Dokladuje, že metapragmatický přístup není se základními tématy lingvistické pragmatiky v rozporu, naopak je doplňuje.
