Lexikon teorie literatury a kultury
Lexikon je koncipován jako pracovní pomůcka, která umožňuje lépe se orientovat na poli pojmů a předmětů, na němž se dnes i odborníci orientují jen s obtížemi. Interdisciplinárně zaměřený lexikon podává kompaktní přehled o různorodosti literárněvědných a kulturologických přístupů, osvětluje ústřední pojmy a seznamuje s autory a autorkami, kteří určovali teoretické diskuse. Jeho snahou je poskytnout odborné vodítko studentům a studentkám (i těm začínajícím) všech filologických oborů a věd o kultuře, jakož i čtenářům a čtenářkám ostatních duchovědných disciplín (zvláště historikům, sociologům a psychologům), kteří se zajímají o teorii, a tak jim umožnit zorientovat se v pojmech, jež se vyskytují v interdisciplinárních diskusích literární teorie a teorie kultury. Aby lexikon tomuto nároku mohl dostát, musí být co nejobsáhlejší, aniž přitom ztratí příruční charakter jednosvazkového slovníku. Česká verze Lexikonu nepředstavuje jen překlad, ale také adaptaci do českého prostředí a kulturního kontextu. Způsob, kterým byla původní, německá verze adaptována, je trojí: (1) rozšíření o relevantní české (a příp. slovenské) položky v oddíle "Lit." na konci každého hesla; přitom ve stejném oddíle jsou také v závorce uváděny u jednotlivých děl jejich české (a slovenské) překlady. (2) Rozšíření původních hesel o české apendixy; (3) Nová hesla autorů, směrů, pojmů či škol, které by domácí uživatel měl mít — v souvislosti s teorií literatury a kultury — k dispozici.
