Kniha přináší údaje o biologii a ekologických nárocích sta a jednoho druhu slunéček žijících ve střední Evropě. Většina druhů je ilustrována fotografiemi dospělých brouků ze sbírek nebo i z přírody. Lesy v dejinách Kremnice
Kniha Lesy v dejinách Kremnice je jednou z prvých kníh venovaných histórii mestských lesov na Slovensku, zároveň patrí k tým, ktoré nemajú iba populárno-prezentačnú úroveň, ale vedecký a zároveň odborno-populárny charakter. Poznámkový aparát je umiestnený na konci knihy. Monografia má bohatý obrazový sprievodný materiál a je plnofarebná. Graficky je spracovaná veľmi kvalitne, nápadito a kultivovane. Tlač je takisto na vysokej úrovni (Devin printing hous, s. r. o.).
