Dobytí říše Inků: Tažení Francisca Pizarra v letech 1532–1537
Dobytí říše Inků nesporně patří k vrcholům španělské conquisty na jihoamerickém kontinentu. V roce 1532 se poblíž zničeného Tumbesu vylodila výprava o síle 168 mužů. V jejím čele stál Francisco Pizarro, čtyřiapadesátiletý conquistador, který získal svolení španělské koruny pokračovat v objevech a dobývání doposud neznámých oblastí Nové světa. Pizarro stejně jako řada dalších dobyvatelů toužil po moci a bohatství. Shodou okolností vstoupil na území Peru v době, kdy říší Inků zmítal bratrovražedný boj mezi příslušníky vládnoucí dynastie. V Cajamarce se poprvé setkal s Atahualpou, jenž se zmocnil vlády nad impériem. Jejich konfrontace skončila krveprolitím a inkovým zajetím. Ačkoli zajatý panovník nabídl Španělům neslýchaný obnos ve zlatě a stříbře, nakonec byl conquistadory popraven. Pizarro a jeho muži obsadili hlavní město Cuzco, a završili tak pokoření nejmocnější říše v Novém světě. Peru se stalo španělskou kolonií. Dobyvatelé získali bohatství, které překonávalo jejich nejodvážnější představy. Jak mohlo několik stovek mužů ovládnout impérium čítající 10 milionů obyvatel, jemuž nebylo v „Indiích“ rovno? Srazily mocnou říši na kolena heroismus, udatnost, fyzická, technologická a intelektuální převaha Evropanů? Skutečně Inkové rezignovali na jakýkoli odpor a poddali se „nevyhnutelnému“ osudu?

Komentár zákona Slovenskej národnej rady č. 372/1990 Zb. o priestupkoch v znení neskorších predpisov je už tretím aktualizovaným a doplneným vydaním. Pre potreby spoločnosti bol komentovaný zákon viackrát novelizovaný a od posledného druhého vydania komentára v roku 2020 boli prijaté legislatívne zmeny, ktoré je nutné premietnuť do aktuálneho tretieho vydania. Zmeny zákona reagovali na zvýšený počet deliktov páchaných v digitálnom prostredí, zníženie vekovej hranice trestnej a s tým spojenej aj priestupkovej zodpovednosti či úpravu prístupu k mladistvým páchateľom.

Exclusion and the New Politics of Hatred
Colin Crouch argues that at the base of all political conflicts are struggles over which types of people should be included in and which excluded from various rights, including the right to exist at all within a particular society. This is more fundamental than any conflict between left and right or between classes, and it gives rise to tropes of inclusionary and exclusionary rhetoric that can be transferred across issues – from ethnicity to gender and sexual orientation, and including demands for nations to isolate themselves as much as possible from contacts with others. Today the forces seeking exclusions of many kinds are gaining ground in the strategies of many governments, parties and movements. Drives to exclude lead rapidly to the incitement of hatred, which leads in turn to acts of performative cruelty and physical violence. Deeply opposed as he is to the politics of exclusion, Crouch seeks to understand and explain its rationality. He passionately advocates a politics of inclusion but, at the same time, he recognises the real obstacles that a commitment to inclusion must confront.
