Skutočný Ježiš
Tretí knižný titul „biblickej edície“ vydavateľstva Minor nesie titul „Skutočný Ježiš. Mylné hľadanie historického Ježiša a pravdivosť tradičných evanjelií“. Jeho autorom je významný americký odborník na Nový Zákon a historik raného kresťanstva Luke Timothy Johnson, ktorý je v našom jazykovom prostredí známy vďaka českej edícii Sacra Pagina. Johnson v knihe reaguje na fenomén tzv. „Ježišovho seminára“, ktorý sa síce odohrával v americkom prostredí, no jeho východiská a prístupy pri skúmaní dostupných kánonických i mimo-kánonických svedectiev v snahe o uchopenie historickej osoby Ježiša zostávajú trvalým kameňom úrazu pre porozumenie tomu, kto Ježiš bol a aký dopad má jeho „historickosť“ na človeka. Ak totiž máme vôbec používať vyjadrenie „skutočný Ježiš“, nemalo by sa vzťahovať na historicky rekonštruovaného Ježiša. Takýto žid by nebol „skutočný“ v žiadnom zmysle, iba ak v rovine produktu vedeckej predstavivosti... To v textoch Nového zákona, dodnes odovzdávaných, je v súlade s kresťanským nárokom prítomný „skutočný Ježiš“, Ježiš literárne vpísaný do novozákonných kompozícií ako kompozícií, Ježiš ako konkrétna, špecifická osoba, ktorá svojím životom a smrťou definuje model ľudskej existencie. Knihu z anglického originálu preložil slovenský biblista Pavel Prihatný.
