Šumperák - Ztráta plánu / Plans went astray
Na podzim 2016 uplynulo přesně padesát let od doby, kdy na vesnici u Šumperku dostavěli první rodinný dům typu V. Pod obecně užívaným názvem šumperák se stal legendou, nejstavěnějším domem v Československu. Byl milován i nenáviděn. Naplňoval dobové představy o moderním bydlení, ztělesňoval úspěch modernizace venkova, architekti se od něj distancovali, památkáři se obá¬vali, že zkazí charakter české vesnice. Dnes upomíná na dobu socialismu, kdy jste si nemohli objednat architekta a najmout firmu, která by vám dům postavila. Vzniklo jich pět, možná také dvacet tisíc. Stavěny byly svépomocí, bezprostředně proto vypovídají o vkusu a schopnostech svých majitelů. Nelze se ptát, který z domů je originál. Aniž to jejich projektant Josef Vaněk na počátku tušil, vypustil do světa velice úspěšnou partituru.
Autorská kniha Tomáše Pospěcha v grafické úpravě Milana Nedvěda je osobitou interpretací tohoto fenoménu. Autor se na příkladu šumperáku zamýšlí nad architekturou té doby, i nad otázkou originality a sériovos¬ti. Společně s tím, jak se s každou novou realizací rozmazával plán rodinného domu typu V, se současně zpřesňuje fenomén šumperák.
