Obchodná ulica Svedectvo doby
Pri príprave knihy Viem zastaviť čas našiel fotograf Juraj Bartoš zabudnutú škatuľu s negatívmi. Väčšinu fotografií v tejto knihe nafotil, vyvolal, film postrihal, uložil a fotografie uvidel až o 40 rokov pri skenovaní na monitore počítača.
Keď retušujem fotografie z Obchodnej a pozerám sa do tvárí tých ľudí, tak si neviem vysvetliť, prečo som to niekoľko rokov robil. Kupoval som filmy, chemikálie, celé dni strávil v tmavej komore, bez perspektívy, že to bude mať reálny efekt. Zvláštne.
Fotografie okoloidúcich, architektúry, predavačov, výkladov a domácností s chirurgickou presnosťou zachytávajú dobu a ľudí presne takých, akí vtedy boli a ako sa tvárili, keď mali pocit, že sa na nich nikto nepozerá.
Fotografie sú prestriedané úryvkami, ktoré vykresľujú vzťah Juraja Bartoša k fotografovaniu. Text knihy je preložený do anglického, nemeckého a japonského jazyka.
