Viktor Šelesták (11. 4. 1989 Košice) je predstaviteľom nového druhu fotografie, ktorý sa vyhranil až v tomto storočí. Je to zvláštny typ fotografického dokumentu, ktorého stredobodom nie sú ľudia, ale skôr stopy, ktoré zanechávajú, produkty civilizácie. Vznikajú v rôznych častiach sveta, ale Šelesták na rozdiel od svojich západných kolegov fotografuje väčšinou na „divokom východe“. Zameriava hlavne na súčasnú mestskú krajinu, väčšinou slovenskú, ktorá je doslova presýtená farbami. Realitu vníma ako pestrofarebný patchwork, farebnú záplatu na záplate. Je to veselý, priam radostný, a zároveň bezútešný svet. Napriek tomu sú jeho fotografie pekné, tak ako to majú v názve – #selestakovepeknefotky. Väčšinou síce odrážajú rozladenú realitu, v ktorej sa autor najčastejšie pohybuje, ale ony samy sú zladené, pretože sú presné až exaktné. Všetky zábery sú nafotené smartfónom a postupne boli zverejňované na instagrame. Ako obrazová – fotografická publikácia predstavujú vlastne experiment.

Fotografické album REVOLUCE 89 přináší unikátní pohled na dění v ulicích “sametové revoluce” od 17. Listopadu do prezidentské volby Václava Havla, skrz objektiv Jana Šilpocha. Jeho specializací je reportážní fotografie, která ho provází po celý život. Během sametové revoluce se zápalem fotil vše, co se kolem něj dělo. Tato kniha přináší důmyslně promyšlený souhrn dění této důležité společenské proměny skrz 71 fotografií. Je výsledkem roční práce mezi Janem a jeho synem Markem. Společně probrali kolem 2500 fotografií, které Jan v roce 1989 nafotil. Výběr fotografií v této knize je pohledem na to, jak jsme v ulicích prožívali období nejistoty a vzrušujících změn sametové revoluce, mnohdy se slzami v očích.

Publikácia po prvýkrát predstavuje tvorbu Karola Kállaya v oblasti módnej fotografie. Čitateľa uvedie nielen do pútavého života fotografa, ale oboznámi ho aj s dejinami tohto obľúbeného fotografického žánru doma i vo svete. Karol Kállay začínal v prostredí Československa ako fotograf v časopise Móda-textil. Neskôr nadviazal spoluprácu s nemeckými časopismi Saison a Sibylle a parížskym časopisom Jardin des Modes. Móde sa venoval viac ako tridsať rokov a môžeme ho považovať za zakladateľa módnej fotografie na Slovensku. Vo svojich najlepších snímkach prepájal inscenovanú fotografiu s dokumentárnym prístupom a zúročil tak svoje skúsenosti reportážneho fotografa. Vďaka odvahe, invencii a vytrvalej snahe vyrovnať sa kvalitou ostatným svetovým fotografom sa mu podarilo presadiť sa aj v zahraničí. Historičky umenia Lucia Almášiová a Zuzana Šidlíková približujú domáce aj zahraničné projekty Karola Kállaya, doplnené o spomienky modeliek, s ktorými fotograf spolupracoval. Atraktívny obrazový materiál, ktorý vybral a zostavil Richard Kučera Guzmán, je súčasťou rozsiahleho a do veľkej miery nepublikovaného archívu Karola Kállaya. Publikáciu vydáva kreatívna agentúra RICHIE.. v spolupráci s Vydavateľstvom SLOVART.

Na rozdíl od fotografie, nikdo neví, kdy vzniklo divadlo a kdo je jeho vynálezcem. Na počátku byly zřejmě pravěké rituály a starodávné náboženské obřady. A protože v podstatě každý člověk vědomě či nevědomě a lépe či hůře hraje ve svém životě nějaké divadlo, stalo se divadlo součástí lidské kultury a dnes přitahuje stejně jako kdysi třeba v Antice. Lidé milují divadlo, protože přináší emoce, zkušenosti, inspiruje, dokáže pobavit a stejně tak otevírá prostor k zamyšlení. S fotografií je to zdánlivě mnohem jednodušší. Princip camery obscury zpočátku pomáhal především malířům, ale než se od pouhého přenesení obrazu ten těkavý okamžik konečně podařilo i zvěčnit na papír, uplynula ještě dlouhá staletí. Dnes digitální fenomén, který se stejně jako divadlo, stal zcela přirozenou součástí naší kultury. A díky své téměř absolutní dostupností člověka neustále přitahuje a provokuje. Divadlo i fotografie vyprávějí příběhy. Miroslav Fořt, autor unikátní knihy, se po většinu své profesní kariery věnoval zprostředkování příběhů. Především racionálním úhlem pohledu žurnalisty. V nové knize spojil své dvě velké lásky. Divadlo a fotografii. V obou případech totiž musí člověk vidět a cítit mnohem víc, než mu nabízí jen vlastní oči. Není proto náhodou, že své obrazy fotografiky spojil s názvy nejrůznějších divadelních her. Vždyť svět je přece divadlo, jak kdysi napsal slovutný velký vypravěč příběhů William Shakespeare. Shromáždili 100 fotografií (černobílých s menším zastoupením barevných) více než 80 českých fotografů z hluboké fotografické minulosti až po současnost ke každé fotografii jeden rozbor, postřeh a charakteristika, vše ve věcné, zasvěcené, odborné a přesné rovině. Kniha autorů Ludvíka a Alexandra Baranových Obraz jako dialog s časem nemá být a není praktickým návodem, jak zhotovit "mistrovské dílo", ale knihou, která má zájemci o fotografii ukázat mnohostranné možnosti zachycení skutečnosti a dát podněty k přemýšlení i srovnání s vlastní tvorbou. V teoretické části autoři přijatelnou formou přibližují vztah fotografie a filozofie, uvádějí základní názory na specifiku fotografického díla. V jednotlivých kapitolách nám zprostředkovávají pohled na "obraz" od paleolitu přes první fotografii světa, klasiky české fotografie až po současné amatérské fotografy. Toto seznámení není pouze formou teoretických pojednání, ale formou charakteristik a rozborů sta fotografií. To je důležité zejména v současnosti, kdy jsme fotografickými obrazy doslova zaplaveni a mnohdy se dává přednost diskuzi o fotografické technice. Skutečnost, že se v knize můžeme seznámit i s tvorbou současných fotografů a s názory autorů na jejich fotografie, nám umožňuje udělat si lepší představu o tom, jakým směrem se současná fotografie ubírá, a také obrázek o své fotografické tvorbě.
