The Cubist Cosmos - From Picasso to Leger
The Cubist Cosmos traces the development of Cubism between 1907 and 1917. The publication reveals the boundless innovative power of the works of Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque. It also shows how the Cubist pictorial language was received and advanced by the artists of the Parisian avant-garde - such as Fernand Leger and Sonia Delaunay - and how it evolved into colourful large-format pictures. The volume reflects not only the enormous range of this stylistic direction but also its revolutionary potential, which went on to influence the further development of twentieth-century art.
In chronologically and thematically devised chapters the publication shows how the influence of folk art and archaic sculpture as well as the works of Paul Cezanne initially became increasingly evident in the paintings of Picasso and Braque. From 1908 crystalline, geometric elements as it were, appear. Until 1911 the characteristic prismatically fragmented forms and an almost colourless austerity dominated. The new pictorial language was taken up by artists like Juan Gris, Fernand Leger, Robert and Sonia Delaunay and Henri Le Fauconnier, who developed and presented it in large formats in the Salon exhibitions of the Paris art world.

A large illustrated edition, it includes hundreds of photographs and documents accompanied by Lang's fascinating memories and insights into the most famous and influential festival of all time, with images of Jimi Hendrix, The Who, Crosby, Stills Nash & Young, Richie Havens, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Santana, Janis Joplin, Joan Baez, Country Joe McDonald and the Grateful Dead. The ephemera from Lang's largely unseen archive include the original designs and plans for the event, correspondence, set-lists, information on artists' fees and much more. This wealth of information is accompanied by the best photographs of the event by famous and unknown photographers such as Ralph Ackerman, John Dominis, Bill Eppridge, Dan Garson, Barry Z. Levine, Elliott Landy, Lee Marshall and Baron Wolman, and notably featuring the archive of Henry Diltz. Diltz was the only official photographer at Woodstock and was there for two weeks, from an empty field of cows to first construction, crowds arriving and the aftermath. He also captured onstage performances and behind-the-scenes moments with the many artists involved. Woodstock is an exuberant volume that conveys the vision, hard work and elusive magic that made up "three days of peace and music."

Mozarta, Beethovena, Wagnera, Čajkovského, Janáčka, Goetha, Shakespeara, Komenského, Meyrinka a dalších. Autor využívá své znalosti symboliky a mytologie k vyprávění osudů lidí skrze nezaměnitelné barvy, tvary a kompozici, snažící se zachytit prvotní jiskru jejich duše. Kiseljov má za sebou přes 90 výstav svých maleb - v Berlíně, Florencii, Vídni, Edinburghu, Kodani, Mnichově, Praze a dalších městech. Je vyznamenán několika mezinárodními cenami za svou uměleckou a vědeckou tvorbu, mezi jinými např. v roce 2018 na festivalu v Casablance v Maroku, na wagnerovském kongresu v Innsbrucku. V roce 2013 vydal svou první knihu „Mysteria Richarda Wagnera v obrazech“, která zaznamenala značný mezinárodní odborný ohlas publikovanými malbami i originálním výkladem symboliky skladatelova díla. Migrations
As the world refugee crisis intensified, back in 2017 two teachers of Illustration at Worcester University had the idea of contacting illustrator friends around the world, asking them to draw and send an original postcard on the theme of Migration, to form an installation at the Biennale of Illustration at Bratislava, Slovakia. The response astonished them, with hundreds of cards and personal messages, forming a visually stunning show. The installation has since been mounted in South Korea and will be displayed at further places around the world, including Amnesty International's London offices in the summer of 2019.
Over fifty of the postcards, mailed from 32 countries, are reproduced in actual size in this very special book, to be published on 9 May 2019. All the works have been donated and the book's royalties will be shared between Amnesty International and IBBY (International Board on Books for Youth). Leading children's book illustrators from the UK, including Christopher Corr, Neal Layton, Jackie Morris, Jane Ray and Chris Riddell, have contributed cards, along with illustrators from Argentina to Russia, South Africa to Iran.
Australian illustrator Shaun Tan has written the Introduction. Janetta Otter-Barry, publisher of Otter-Barry Books, says: "It's an honour to be chosen as publishers of this book.
