A Pázmány Péter Katolikus Egyetem Bölcsészet- és Társadalomtudományi Kar Kommunikáció- és Médiatudományi Intézetének Vallás - média - nyilvánosság kutatócsoportja a Doktoranduszok Országos Szövetsége Filmtudományi Osztályával közös megemlékezést szervezett Sindó Kaneto (1912-2012) emlékére. A konferenciát lassú érlelődési folyamat követte, melyben megszülettek a konferencia előadásainak írott változatai, és a kínálkozó lehetőséget kihasználva végül sikerült kötetté formálni az előadók által megírt tanulmányokat.
