Michael Balzary alias Flea je známý především jako baskytarista Red Hot Chili Peppers. Jeho sólová tvorba je často experimentální, instrumentální, jazzová nebo avantgardní. V posledních letech je Flea velmi aktivní jako skladatel filmové hudby. Podílel se na soundtracích k filmům jako Babylon nebo seriálu Obi-Wan Kenobi. Flea je jedním z nejvýznamnějších baskytaristů své generace.
