When Michael Jordan left the Chicago Bulls to play baseball in 1993, the team was in crisis. Die Texte wurden daher so vereinfacht, daß sie auch ein Anfänger ohne Mühe lesen kann. Sachliches und Sprachliches wurde ausführlich im Anhang erklärt. Möge dieses kleine Heft dem Ausländer eine Anregung sein, sich bei fortgeschrittenen Kenntnissen in der deutschen Sprache mit den Originalfassungen dieser Märchen und Sagen zu beschäftigen, um einen Eindruck von der schlichten Schönheit der Volkssprache zu gewinnen.

Der Process
Das Besondere an Christian Brückner ist, dass man eigentlich bei jedem Hörbuch mit ihm das Gefühl hat, seine Stimme würde gerade zu diesem Text, zu diesem Stil ganz besonders gut passen. Und eben das scheint die Kunst dieses außergewöhnlichen Sprechers zu sein. Franz Kafkas Der Prozeß macht da keine Ausnahme. Man hat den Eindruck, die beklemmende Geschichte des Josef K., der durch eine undurchschaubare Anklage und die Konfrontation mit einem mysteriösen Gerichtsapparat nach und nach aus der Bahn seines geordneten, kleinen Lebens getragen wird, in den über acht Stunden des Hörbuchs neu zu entdecken. Zum Beispiel die komischen Seiten des Romans -- als Höhepunkt K.s Treffen mit dem Maler Titorelli und der bedrohlichen Mädchenbande vor dessen Tür. Oder die erotische Komponente, und wie es Josef K. im Verlauf der Geschichte immer mehr zu den Frauen hinzieht, als würde durch sein Angeklagtsein ein lange unterdrücktes Verlangen frei. Fazit: Der Prozeß als Hörbuch ist eine wunderbare Gelegenheit, Kafkas berühmtesten Roman wieder zu entdecken. --Christian Stahl
