Na tuto skutečnost reagují legislativní předpisy i technické normy, které svými požadavky na umístění elektrických zařízení a provedení elektrických instalací posilují požární bezpečnost staveb. Tento trend bude i nadále pokračovat, a proto je možné předpokládat novelizaci stávajících i vydávání nových legislativních předpisů i technických norem pro tuto oblast. Je tedy nutné tento vývoj sledovat a novinky aplikovat v praxi. Neutuchající rozvoj stavebních technologií a technologického vybavení pozemních staveb provází stupňování požadavků na jejich obecnou bezpečnost, což se zákonitě odráží v množství a úrovni požadavků kladených právními a technickými předpisy na jejich požární bezpečnost. Projektování, montáž, realizace i následný provoz technologického vybavení staveb se díky tomu stává stále náročnější disciplínou, jejíž zvládnutí rozhodně neulehčují neustálé změny souvisejících předpisů. Další části rozvádějí podrobněji požadavky na běžné kabelové rozvody i rozvody s požadavkem na časově omezené zachování funkčnosti při požáru. Opomenuty nezůstávají ani požadavky na požární oddělování a zachování funkčnosti rozváděčů nebo dalších prvků elektrických rozvodů. Součástí textu jsou také požadavky na zálohované napájení a vypínání běžných elektrických rozvodů i požárně bezpečnostních zařízení a dalších zařízení důležitých pro požární bezpečnost stavebního objektu (TOTAL STOP, CENTRAL STOP). Samostatná část je věnována novým požadavkům technických předpisů z oblasti požární bezpečnosti na fotovoltaické systémy bez rozdílu výkonu umístěné volně v krajině i na všemožných stavebních objektech. Závěrečná část pak ještě pro přehlednost uvádí souhrn obecných požadavků na návrh, realizaci a kontrolu, resp. revize elektrických zařízení stavebních objektů z pohledu požární bezpečnosti. Příručka je určena širokému spektru elektrotechniků, od projektantů, elektromontérů až po revizní techniky, zejména těm, kteří se specializují na požárně bezpečnostní řešení staveb včetně fotovoltaických systémů a nabíjecích systému pro elektromobilitu.
